100 Yen Shops: Bargain shopping in Japan

100 Yen shops can now be found all over Japan. These discount stores can be a bit of a lifesaver for travellers wishing to save their money, but needing extra clothes. On both my trips to Japan, when I've needed extra clothes to suit the climatic conditions a bit better, I've found cheap and good quality items like hats, t-shirts, etc... in these stores.

What To Pay: Not everything in store is 100 Yen. Items that cost more will be labelled, but will still prove cheaper than "fashion brand" items in the big stores.
