What Your SLC 500 Controller Can Do for You

The SLC 500 PLC has features that previously could not be found in larger PLCs. You have the flexibility and power of a conductor of great simplicity and size of a small controller. SLC-500 controller offers control options than any other programmable controller in its class. These controls are a technologically advanced control over the flexibility and advantages of the typical features of the other PLCs, but with one important difference - the simplicity! The controller consists of a basic modular chassis, power supply, processor (CPU), input / output (I / O) and user interface for programming and monitoring. The following figure shows the typical hardware components of a modular controller.
