Some tips when studying with EN101

Hello everyone!

Hope you are enjoying your EN101 lessons. People often ask,"What is the easiest way of learning another language?" The answer is that there is no easy way but there are ways to make learning more effective and enjoyable.

Here are some tips when studying with EN101: (For English read Spanish if you are learning Spanish.)

• • Study every day but choose a time that is convenient to you. Try to make EN101 a challenge not a chore! A short time each day will produce better results.
    

• • Study out loud and mimic the sounds of the language.
    

• • Play Baroque music in the background while you study.
    

• • Try to increase your vocabulary. Say or write the word you are learning.
    

• • Write the words you are learning and put them on pieces of sticky notes. Put them around your room where they are easily seen and practice them every time you see them. You could also write them on the back of old business cards and carry them with you. Look at them when you have a few spare moments.
    

• • Go back over the previous lessons and revise the words and phrases you have learnt every few days.
    

• • Use the words you have learnt every time you write or speak.
    

• • Visit an English speaking forum or chat room and practice what you have learnt.
    

• • Motivate yourself and ask why you are learning English? Have you set this reason as a written goal?
    

• • Watch English films to become in tune with the language.
    

• • Go to Karaoke venues and sing English songs.
    

• • Have your next holiday in an English speaking part of the world.
    

Remember, e-learning allows you to learn when you are ready to learn NOT when the Teacher is ready to teach.
