Rich Jerk Reviewed
By Bill Carr

I read through the copy on The Rich Jerk site, and found it a little entertaining that this character was employing a strategy of insulting potential customers and affiliates. And it looks like it's working.

I guess, being a foul mouthed tout is lucrative, for This Rich Jerk. His e-book on Click Bank is ranked #1 in the Money and Employment category. And they are willing to impart their hard gained knowledge to you if you buy The Rich Jerk e-book for $9.95 (I just noticed the price drop 01-23-2007). If you ask me it was probably the best money I spent, but it's not that easy. Especially when you start combing the web for money making opportunities, you'll probably end up like most other marketers, looking for that easy button. That isn't there.

Pick out one of the techniques 'that's in his e-book'

  • How to make affiliate websites that sell like crazy
  • Pay per click strategies that will kill your competition
  • Search engine optimization strategies
  • Creating your own info product to sell
  • Buying and selling wholesale goods on eBay
  • Websites you can make profitable right now (i.e. Click Bank review sites)
  • Other online ventures to consider
  • Recommended resources
  • The Good Stuff's in the front of the book
And stick with it until; you at least make your money back with some of the tactics and strategies shown there, Even though with an intermediate level of marketing skills you will find many of the techniques to be far too advanced. So what I'm trying to explain here is, pick something you can understand. and stick with it it could be a long hard road if keep taking the side roads.

Earthquakes in California?
By Lance Winslow

If you are worried about Earthquakes in California, you are not alone. Having been studying Earthquakes on the Pacific side of the Americas for quite some time, I have seen patterns, which are problematic for human populations. Often we see Earthquakes over a two-three month period starting in Peru and moving upward into Columbia, Guatemala and into Mexico, which seem to trigger volcanic activity as well. The huge 8.8 Earthquake in Mexico City occurred after two large 7 magnitude quakes in Peru and Chile. Now then there was a 7.8 quake in Chile on June 13 and another large quake in Peru and a Colima Volcanic Eruption, which is the biggest in over a decade.

Additionally in California-Oregon border off the coast 80 clicks was another 7.4 followed a week later by another 5.6 magnitude aftershock and then another 6.8 in Alaska and two more earthquakes in Riverside, CA and Los Angeles 5.3 quake. Often people say they are coincidence, but do you really believe that? In 1985 we learned a valuable lesson of a two-month period of seismic activity, which continued and ended in Mexico City?s disastrous quake. Will this repeat? I believe it will.

When studying the Denali Quake we saw a similar off shoot of S and P waves and swarms. We also saw many Earthquakes follow in later months. During both the 1985 period in Chile, Peru, Columbia, Guatemala and eventually Mexico City we saw record heat waves, solar flares and rising waters from storms.

Presumably additional weight on the plates causes quakes too. Could the recent solar flare and sun spot activity be related? Even if it isn?t have the previously recent quakes set off a slow chain reaction? After all we saw some Pacific Rim activity before the Indonesia quake and then a whole bunch more since then? Last year was an Earthquake year for South and Central America and we also say a large quake in California on a notorious spot on the San Andreas Fault.

Scientists do not know for sure whether or not the recent accumulation of earthquakes which have hit our Western Americas Coastlines are connected or not, but previous observation shows that in fact they most likely are and that means the worst may still be yet to come. I am thinking we could in fact expect some more major type events soon; meaning more 7-8 or even 9 magnitude quakes are possible. For instance we have not had a slip in the very unstable Juan de Fuca plate in a while? Hold onto your hats in Seattle?

If I were a betting man I would bet there will be more to come. Is your family prepared? Do not be too surprised if we get a biggy here in the United States or one in Central America or even Mexico City.

Photography For Las Vegas Weddings
By Renae Judkins

Photographs are an important part of Las Vegas weddings because they capture some of the most beautiful moments of an important day. Photographers capture both formal, posed shots of the wedding party and guests along with candid shots that take place during the ceremony and reception. This combination of posed and candid shots can help you create a wedding album that you can treasure for yours to come. The following are some of the most common shots to include in your wedding album so that you can capture your memories and share them with others throughout your life.

Engagement Photos

Engagement photos are often taken several months prior to Las Vegas weddings. These photos of the bride and groom are often formal, but they can also be candid shots or casual shots. It?s all up to you since they?re your photos. These shots are often used in newspapers and other publications to accompany engagement announcements, so having professional photos taken is probably the best idea if you plan on announcing your engagement in a local publication. Be sure to check your newspaper?s guidelines for photo submission to be sure you are following their requirements for photo size and other criteria for each submission.

Wedding Party Photos for Las Vegas Weddings

Photos of the wedding party are an important part of any wedding album. These shots are often planned ahead of time and may take place in a special location. Wedding party photos include the bride and groom, best man, bridesmaids, maid (or matron) of honor, ring bearer, flower girl, ushers, and anyone else involved in the wedding party. These photos are often formal and the photographer may carefully plan each shot so that you can choose from the best pictures when the proofs become available.

Ceremony Photos for Las Vegas Weddings

Photos from the wedding ceremony are a great way to commemorate your wedding. Your photographer can snap pictures at special moments like the lighting of unity candles, your first kiss as husband and wife, the wedding party processional, and other special times. Because these will be candid shots, they will be a beautiful reminder of all the special moments during your wedding.

Bride & Groom Photos for Las Vegas Weddings

Some of the traditional wedding shots include photos of the bride and groom at various stages of the wedding. Photos can be taken of the bride getting ready to walk down the aisle, the groom waiting at the altar for the bride to enter, and the happy couple when the ceremony has ended and they are getting ready for the recessional. These photos will make a wonderful addition to your wedding album and will let you share your memories with others for many years to come.

Reception Photos

Las Vegas weddings usually have receptions immediately following the ceremony or later in the evening on the day of the wedding. Your photographer can capture the fun times you share with your guests by taking a number of candid shots of your guests dancing, enjoying dinner, talking with each other, and having a great time. You?ll treasure all of these photos every time you open your wedding album.

Trends in Wedding Cakes
By Jennifer Schafer

Different cake designers from the local Houston wedding industry are speaking out about what?s hot for today?s bride. From flavor and color to design and inspiration, Houston?s bakers are taking the cake!

Claudia de Velasco of Cakes To Remember says, ?Brides have been turning to more 'non-traditional' flavors, as opposed to the traditional white cakes. While white cakes are still popular, such as our signature Almond cake, the trend is switching over to chocolate and red velvet.? When asked about the inspiration behind wedding cake design, everything from Magazines to a bride?s ethnicity came into play. Most brides in Houston tend to make their dreams a reality by turning to pretty pictures. In cake design it?s important to seek out a designer that not only satisfies your taste buds, but satisfy your dreams as well.

Casey McNabb from Divine Cakes & Catering says, ?in the past couple of years I have seen a major change in the styles of cakes. It was at one time very popular to have your cake very glamorized by using the staircase coming down both sides of the cake; the bigger the better. Now, Bride's are going for very simple but elegant styles.? With the onset of designer cakes from creators such as Martha Stewart, we are seeing a rise in unusual toppers, unique colors and shapes, and different flavors of each layer. The trend in the wedding cake industry is to capture the personality and wishes of the bride and groom.

Zero To Hero - How A Homemaker Became A Successful Entrepreneur
By Andrew Shim

Chekan (pronounced Chek-Ahn) is a simple, wonderfully resourceful and positive lady who is one of the few friends who inspire me. This is simple account of how this stay-at-home Mom became an Entrepreneur who couldn't stop making money even if she tried!

Like many women, Chekan had simple expectations in life. She was was contented to be a stay-at-home Mom, taking care of her family, but When her kids were older and didn't need so much attention, she found a job at a major electronics production factory to keep busy and make a little extra money. She began picking up English simply to better herself. Eventually, her proficiency in English helped her secure a job in the company where I worked some ten years ago.

In her second year as receptionist in the company, fate took a cruel twist and changed her direction in life. Her husband was diagnosed with a illness which was potentially life-threatening. Faced with the very real possibility that she might have to be the sole bread winner, she did some serious thinking before joining a network marketing program dealing with household products. Although it was difficult at first, she carried on simple for the love of her family. She learnt the ropes of network marketing and quickly moved up the ladder to success. After approximately four years, she had six hundred members in her downline. Anyone involved in network marketing will tell you that this is a major achievement. She trained her downline well, encouraging them to succeed for their own betterment. This in turned, produced an army who worked hard, earning Chekan an impressive monthly commission to match her soaring reputation. She eventually reached an earnings level where she was rewarded with a brand new car fully paid for by the network marketing organization. Despite the many monetary and tangible rewards, what was more important was that Chekan had awakened the entrepreneur within her.

As Chekan moved on from success to success in her part-time network marketing business, she continued to keep her full-time job as a receptionist. She was later posted to a newly set-up division of the company, as an administrator. Most people thought this division was a waste of money and resources, resigning it to certain failure. As luck would have it, Chekan's manager eventually resigned leaving Chekan ? who was the one who knew best the operation of the office - with the responsibility of running that office. Talk was that it would be a temporary situation, but Chekan, through sheer hard work proved everybody wrong and built that division into a veritable money making machine, using the skills and smarts that she learnt while building her network marketing business. We used to joke that this one-time homemaker now had more people working for her ? in her full time job and part-time network marketing ? than the boss of her full-time job!

I was privileged to work with Chekan for about a year before I left to set up my own businesses. I marveled at the workings of this God-fearing woman who by this time, could not stop making money even if she wanted to. Chekan is a perfect example of how to turn a crisis into opportunity and more. She now teaches ordinary women who were once like her to succeed and build a better life for themselves.

The lesson learnt from Chekan is simple. No matter who and what your circumstances are, you have the potential within you to achieve more than you ever dreamt possible. You CAN turn from a zero to a hero!
