Is South Texas a viable place for a truck wash? Well South Texas is a huge area indeed. But since more and more trade is coming from Mexico there are more and more trucks going both ways along the major Roads leading from the Border to I-10. Some go through San Antonio and others through Houston.

But what many people do not understand is that there are some excellent potential truck wash locations on the 59 outside of Houston. Once you get out of town and the Freeway goes down to a highway you will see lots of trucks parked for the night. Land is not so expensive and there are a couple of truck stops, all high-traffic.

Recently this subject came up in an online think tank when one guest member stated; ?We live near a major highway in Texas, and while it's not an Interstate Highway, it sees a significant amount of traffic - mostly independents from what I can tell from keeping an eye on the popular high-traffic truck stop down the road.?

Indeed this is an excellent observation and the traffic into Brownsville is intense. That area is growing along with the massive flow of trucks over the borders. On the 277 in Del Rio Texas there is a potential for a scaled down truck wash as well. Along the 83 there is also a potential for a truck wash. The 77 and 87 between Victoria and San Antonio could use a scaled down truck wash as well. Perhaps a clarifier and a one bay strong steel building (Tornadoes Considered) and there is labor available there as well. The 77, 83, 87 and 277 are seeing more and more traffic each passing season. All these should be considerations if one is thinking on a truck wash location in South Texas.

In the South there are many good businesses to get into. One interesting business is the truck washing business. Due to the weather and the amount of truck traffic off the major interstates trucks tend to get dirtier than in other parts of the country. The rain and the mud take their toll on a company?s image indeed. It is for this reason that if one were looking for a business that a ?truck wash? might be an avenue to pursue?

But how do you make it work? Well to make this really work he needs to get the School Bus Contract and some of the local truck fleets that have box trucks. There is some competition in the area for truck washing in that region of the country, as there is high demand for such services. It is somewhat fierce and they do not always play so fair. This is something to consider. Especially on the mobile fleet washing side of things and it goes way beyond intimidation; it gets political too. Pretty rotten if you ask me. I always laugh how the good ole' boys do business in AL and GA. Of course if you are from there you already know all about this too. Of course there are many types of businesses to start and truck washing is only one of them. But if you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get a little dirty, well you just may wish to consider it as a potential option for you? Think on this in 2006.

This is why I along with several other people, tend to think that used pickup trucks are needed now more than ever and with the growing number of internet users, finding used pickup trucks is becoming much easier.

Used pickup trucks are definitely a solid alternative. Plus, most trucks built recent years will include many of the newer features that have been installed to make trucks a more feasible automotive option.

These used pickup trucks will combine the hauling capacity of a truck and the luxury of an automobile.

Bio Diesel is making headlines in the South in Georgia and South Carolina. In fact a North Carolina Firm is putting a Bio Diesel Bio-Refinery in Middle Georgia. NewGen Technologies is building a 60 million dollar plant in Columbus GA. The State of Georgia already has two-bio diesel plants and both are expanding capacity rapidly as we speak.

Meanwhile at Ft. Benning GA the US Military is also a buyer of Bio Diesel Fuel. In Georgia they have many things to make Bio Diesel out of such as poultry fat, soybean oil and vegetable oil. With the huge poultry farms in and around Georgia and the huge chicken processing plants it makes sense to use poultry fat to make Bio Diesel out of.

The Department of Energy Policy Act of 2005 calls for almost 4 Billion gallons of renewable fuels in 2006 and almost 8 billion gallons by 2012 and the Georgia is enjoying the industry growth and capital flowing in, as we all enjoy the benefits. As it has been said America must break their addiction to Middle Eastern Oil and this is a positive step in the right direction says the Governor of Georgia and the States Economic Development Director.

The Atlanta Business Journal Reports; ?The company plans to use a variety of materials to produce biodiesel, including soybean, sunflowers, palm, rapeseed and canola.?

It looks like the South and Georgia in particularly is joining the renewable energy initiative and going to make Bio Diesel profitable and add Bio Refineries to its list of strong economic industries, which make the state so economically viable. Consider all this in 2006.
