The astrology site, Astrotheme has listed the actor, Johnny Depp as the favorite male celebrity on its site. His astrological natal chart has been viewed almost 95,000 times. This article gives an in-depth description of Johnny Depp's astrological birth chart, which offers an insightful look into the nature of this savvy, unconventional and brilliant actor. My Sun is in Gemini in the 11th house. I am intelligent, artsy and avant garde. I am curious about how others think and relate to life. I continually explore and discover new ways of being, which satisfies my never ending curiosity. My circle of friends is quite eclectic, and sometimes eccentric, which I find refreshing. Saturn in Aquarius in the 7th house of relationships makes a strong trine (beneficial relationship) to my Gemini Sun. This strengthens my capacity to make lasting relationships on a personal and professional level. I enjoy the collaboration involved in working on the set and I can be counted upon to be very professional. I honor those who have strong ideals and live according to them for Truth and authenticity is important to me. Let me first define who I am for myself, and then maybe, I can define who I am for you! I don't let others in real close very easily. It takes time. Relationships are always tricky for me for emotional intimacy is not something I feel comfortable with. My Moon is in Capricorn in the 6th house. I am a traditionalist at heart, but not in a traditional way. Stability, security and continuity in the home and family relationships was important to me as a child and I felt compromised when this was not in place. I have learned to be emotionally resilient, resourceful and independent. I value things which have history attached to them and which others before me have treasured. I respect people who work with their hands and all forms of craftsmanship. I love objects of beauty around me, especially when they are utilitarian. I love natural products, natural environments, architecture and history. Above all else, I enjoy simplicity. I do not like waste. My Moon in Capricorn brings me back to reality when I am too 'out there' and brings me back into balance when I have been too excessive. I am disciplined, focused and like to work and perfect my craft. I can be counted upon to be consistent and give my absolute best in my work for I have a critical task master within me. I do not need a lot of material things to make me happy. My Leo Rising (Ascendant) loves to make light of life, laugh often and not take myself too seriously. I honor the child within me and love to play. I like to be the center of attention but don't enjoy scrutiny and press coverage. I know how to enjoy myself and engage in things which inspire and rejuvenate me. When I turn on my 'Leo' charm, I am irresistible. I have the generous nature often associated with Leo rising but my Capricorn Moon (which does not like frills and self-absorption) allows me to keep a low profile in this regard. My Leo Ascendant is influenced by the placement of Jupiter in Aries in the 9th house for there is a beneficial connection between the two. Jupiter in Aries in the 9th house speaks of my interest in international travel and peaks my curiosity about all cultures. There's a good chance I will live the majority of my life in a country other than the one I was born in. Freedom is important to me. I know how to remain youthful in my vision. I am attracted to tales, fantasies and myths which personify the hero's journey. I like to keep everything simple and believe that life is an adventure. Jupiter connecting with my Leo Ascendant makes it easy for me to tap into a bigger-than-life vision of whatever character I play. I am lucky, spontaneous and highly original. I am best buddies with my inner child and give him as much rope as I can, for he reminds me of what life is truly about...the adventure, the magical journey - remaining open and unaffected. My Venus and Mercury are conjunct in Taurus in the 10th house (career and public persona). I have a natural affinity with the arts, an eye for beauty, style and quality. I will make my career in the arts and will eventually attract fame and fortune. I will cross paths with many famous people. I am becoming confident in my ability to hold my own in social settings and act appropriately but it always takes work. I am cultured, refined and very down to earth. I will create my own, unique style and it will become my signature. I want to make solid, practical choices in regards to my financial investments. Challenging T-square configuration I have a powerful and challenging pattern, a T-square configuration, involving my Uranus/Mars in Virgo (1st house), which opposes my Saturn in Aquarius (7th house) and squares Mercury/Venus in Taurus (10th house). The tension created by this configuration calls upon me to clarify and integrate my values and responsibilities with regard to: personal and professional relationships and obligations; identifying my career goals are and building and developing my career without compromising my artistic sensitivities; determining how much I am willing to do what is required to satisfy the status quo without losing my own freedom, independence and own values. Intimate relationships are not always easy for me and are somewhat of a dilemma. While I love the continuity and familiarity afforded by a committed relationship, I also crave independence, which includes lots of time doing my own thing. Although I am romantic, I'm not sure I can be there emotionally for someone else on a day to day basis. The routine aspect just doesn't do it for me. It concerns me that I am being too selfish in this regard. I most enjoy the friendship aspect of a close relationship, including the communication and sharing of ideas, ideals and what makes the heart sing. Uranus/Mars/Pluto conjunction in Virgo in 1st/2nd houses. This mentally restless configuration explains the 'quirky' side of my nature, but also my originality. I sometimes have a really short attention span. Although I can get bored quickly, it's also true to say that I am continuously scanning a multitude of ideas running across my radar screen. My physical reflexes and mental capabilities are quick as lightning and I move with grace and agility in my physical body. I attract stress to me but I don't do well with stress. When I'm stressed, I need to get my feet on the earth and do something physical to ground me. I am interested in the psychology of things and understand the mechanics and technicality of just about anything. I like to know how things work. I can be exacting, fastidious and obsessive with details at times. I travel between having very high expectations of others and no expectations at all. I can have a critical nature. Pluto connects well with Capricorn Moon but challenges my Gemini Sun. This combination requires that I be willing to understand my own psychological processes and bring about transformation from facing and working through my emotional issues. I am also figuring out what I need to know about power, particularly in regards to my relationships with men. Neptune in Scorpio (4th house) trines Chiron in Pisces (8th house). I am imaginative, intuitive and emotionally and psychically sensitive. I can feel the undercurrent energies of any place I spend time in so I need to have a safe haven, solitude and privacy. Being near the ocean has a healing effect upon me. I like the process of contemplation and reflection. I have said that I "channel" the characters that I play in movies. People think I am joking. I'm not sure that I am. Neptune challenges my Leo Ascendant. This is where I can be excessive and compulsive and lose myself in whatever I am doing for it affords me the opportunity to escape. The North Node in my chart is placed in the 12th house in the sign of Cancer. My powerful ambitions in my previous life brought my fame and fortune, which I worked very hard for. I learned a lot about power and control. In this lifetime, I am learning about how to surrender to and accept the very 'human' part of my nature. I still have a tendency to see my emotional needs as weaknesses. I know that I must be willing to reach out to others and open up to true intimacy. Once I have done my own emotional work, allowing for healing to take place, I will know how to nurture others and really be there for them emotionally. This involves trust and a willingness to show interest in others, their lives and their dreams and hopes. I will know that I have imbibed the qualities associated with my North Node when I can truly feel what it is to walk in another's shoes, show true compassion, love and nurturing. I am also learning to open up to spiritual guidance and glean the wisdom that comes from aligning my life with the Divine. In the relationship with the Sacred, I am learning about the importance of surrender and Divine timing. I wish I could learn this without feeling so very vulnerable and without having to experience loss.
Full House was a dramatic comedy TV show that aired on ABC for eight seasons and 189 episodes! It was about a father (Danny Tanner, played by Bob Saget) who had lost his wife when she was run over by a drunk driving his car! He simply couldn't care for his three daughters the way that he wanted to because he had to work to support them so he asked his number one pal (Joey Gladstone played by Dave Coulier) and his wife's brother (Jesse Katsopolis played by John Stamos to help him out and ensure that his girls always had someone around who truly cared about them. In the second season, the sweet and beautiful wife of Jesse (Becky Donaldson played by Lori Loughlin) joined the show and offered Danny's girls the mother figure that they so badly needed. Audiences loved all of the characters on Full House but the one that was definitely most beloved was Michelle Tanner who was just barely over one-year-old when the series began and was nearly nine-years old when ABC took it off the air. It was seeing that character transformed from a baby into a young girl for so many years that made viewers feel like they were a part of the Full House family! Add to the fact that Michelle was played by two twin sister (Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen) and you might see why many fans found Full House irresistible! Mary-Kate and Ashley's mother in real life actually wanted to pull them off the show after the first year in order to give them a "normal" youth. The show's producers must have had nervous breakdowns when they heard that the twins who were responsible for a very significant percentage of Full House's viewership were going to leave! They quickly offered a dramatic increase in the twins salary and mom just couldn't refuse! The main reason for audiences "sticking around" for the entire eight seasons of Full House was that the characters became almost like real friends and family! Who wouldn't like having a totally devoted father like Danny Tanner or a really cool uncle Jesse or an adopted uncle Joey that you could depend on whenever dad wasn't around? And we actually watched the Full House kids grow up! We first met Michelle Tanner as a 6-month-old baby and watched her grow into a sweet 8-year-old! Steph Tanner matured from a mere 5-years-old into a teenager. D.J. Tanner literally blossomed from a 10-year-old child into a young woman in her last year of high school! Let us not forget another important Full House character. Becky Donaldson joined the show in the 2nd season as Danny's co-host on his morning TV show and soon began dating Jesse. She brought a much needed female touch to the show providing Jesse (eventually) with a wife, the other guys with a female influence and the Tanner girls with a much needed mother figure. In the 5th season, Becky also gave birth to twin sons and Full House again had baby twins on the show! After being cancelled by ABC, a brand new network called "The WB" actually wanted to purchase the rights to Full House and keep it on the air! John Stamos was the first to announce that he wouldn't sign for a 9th season. He didn't like being "saved" by a new, minor network and felt he'd rather leave the series with his head held high. Then Candace Cameron said that she wouldn't sign because she wanted to attend college. There wasn't really any desire to go on from the other players either as literally all of the cast and writers refused to sign with the WB. Well, everything good in life must eventually come to an end! There aren't many shows that grab a viewers' soul like Full House did and fans will eagerly await their next chance at enjoying such a delightful family series!

`Still my guitar gently weeps` - if you have been as touched by this haunting Beatles number as countless others have been but are clueless about guitars per se; well, here is a quick run-through. Guitars basically fall into two categories; acoustic and electrical. Acoustic guitars are the most traditional and the most commonly used guitars. Made of thin wood, these guitars are hollow and large and do not use any external amplification. Because these are hollow, when attached to any electronic devices, the acoustic signals in them get transferred to an amplifier. They are suitable for any type of music but suit the genre of country or folk music best. Acoustic guitars again come in different categories and each has its own characteristics. They are the classical, twelve-string, steel, bass and resonator guitars. Classical guitars have strings made of nylon and they have wider necks in comparison to other guitars. These guitars are mostly used for classical music and ballads and the sounds emanating from them are warm and gentle. A classical guitar is excellent for playing the Flamenco as the full-bodied sounds emerging from the guitar complements that particular style of music very well. This guitar is also great for chord-plucking, running arpeggios and nail-strumming. Since these guitars have wide necks with short fingers, playing them can be quite challenging. The twelve-string guitar is made up of twelve strings as opposed to the more common six strings which make up the majority of the guitars. The strings are so paired that each pair has the same note but with one of the string tuned at a higher octave. A semi-chorus type of effect is achieved with his arrangement of the strings. The steel guitars are played in a horizontal manner by either keeping them on their stands or placing them across the knees of the player. The two main types of the steel guitars are the lap steel guitars and the pedal steel guitars. Bass guitars may have strings ranging from four to six with the four string guitar being most commonly used. The strings of a bass guitar are long and thick and tuning the guitar can be quite a difficult job. This guitar brings out the bass of the rhythm and electric bass guitars are beginning to be more popular. Resonator guitars were basically invented to increase the volume of the music of the traditional acoustic guitar. These guitars are made of metal, unlike the usual wood and are most popularly used in country music, bluegrass and the blues. They are also known as resophonic guitars. Electric guitars are different from the acoustic ones in that require amplification for the music to be heard properly. Unlike the classical guitars, they have longer necks and solid or semi-hollow bodies. They have to be connected to amplifiers to increase the vibrations which are generated by playing upon these guitars. The strings of electric guitars are fine-tuned with the help of control knobs and these also produce a variety of tunes. Electric guitars are much easier to play as less force is required to press its strings and tuning is also comparatively simpler. These guitars are used to generate heart-thumping music and thus are ideally suited for rock, hip-hop, funk and rap music. Archtop guitars are hollow or semi-solid and use thick steel strings and can be either electric or acoustic. Jazz music is prominently played on these guitars and they are characterized by their arch-like shape at the top. So, all you wannabe Elvis Presleys or Beatles fans can now take their pick from these guitars and strum to their hearts` content!
