It's been awhile since I wrote. My oldest daughter Darla has been doing my old job taking care of two of my grandchildren. I used to tell her about funny little things Kyle used to say that kept me laughing. A few days ago they were going down the road in her car and he said "aunt Darla those people are growing corn out of their mailbox. He just comes up with the funniest things to say. One day he came out of the bathroom and said "grandpa why is the water in the toilet blue?" Never a dull moment with Kyle around!
You just never know when someone is being careless even though they don't mean to be. Our neighbor right across the hall was heating up some grease to cook something. She totally forgot! When the fire fighters got there, they gave her this advice about cooking. They said always have the correct fitting lid to your pan along side of a oven mitten next to your stove when you are cooking. The reason is that if the grease gets to hot or catches fire the lid will put it out and the mitt will keep you from getting burned. Sounds like great advice everybody so keep it in mind and be careful. Don't ever walk away from oil heating up! Busyone
