The idea of a nationalized healthcare system has been around for a long time, and like most other social ideas, it sounds good when you first hear it. Healthcare for everyone in the United States would be a dream come true for lots of families but the problems with universal healthcare far outweigh the benefits. Many countries have tried this and failed because of some basic ideas that aren’t even being considered.

1. The Competition – or lack there of. One of the things that made this country great is the free market principle of competition. Doctors spend years in medical school to graduate and join the ranks of practicing MDs. When they do, they usually have huge debts to repay and big dreams of being successful, rich doctors. Competition creates winners and these doctors strive to be the best so they can make a name for themselves and ultimately make more money. In a universal healthcare system, the government decides what a doctor can charge and they all make the same amount. There is no longer a reason for a doctor to strive to be the best because there is no reward for doing so. This hinders medical advancement and makes everyone take the same sub-standard healthcare; it also greatly reduces the drive for people to become doctors at all. I understand that the need to help others should always come first, but that won’t pay off years of student loans and put food on the table.

2. The Cost – somewhere in the neighborhood of $3 trillion per year. That makes the recent stimulus package from congress seem small by comparison. Large numbers like this tend to fall on deaf ears because no one really knows how much that is. To give you an idea, it’s $10,000 per year for every person living in this country. The reason healthcare costs have risen to where they are is because we have already begun moving toward socialized healthcare for several years now. It works like this: Medicare and Medicaid put about 20% of the country in a free healthcare program, but someone has to pay for it; so the other 80% see a rise in their healthcare costs. This causes more people from the 80% to lose their healthcare because they can no longer afford it and they join the other 20% who are getting it for free. Healthcare costs continue to rise for those who are paying for it as more and more people get it for free; but in the end, this money has to come from somewhere. The only way to fix this problem is to un-socialize the system and make healthcare affordable to more people. One company with a solution is Ameriplan USA. In this health program, doctors offer big discounts for all their services in exchange for payment from the patient… no insurance or big government to get in the way.

3. The Government – can’t do anything efficiently. Every program that our government has taken over dies a slow death. They have ruined retirement with social security, and forced more people into poverty through welfare. This is the same group of people that pay $5,000 for a toilet seat. Most of the people on capital hill have never had to worry about healthcare and have no idea how it works. They are interested in your vote; and if universal healthcare sounds good to you, they will be happy to do it regardless of right or wrong. Good healthcare is not a right… it’s a privilege that should be worked for and cherished, not handed out.

I wish everyone could have the best healthcare but that is not the world we live in. We should endeavor to make it as affordable as possible for as many people as possible, but the more “free” it becomes, the worse it will get.

Keeping yourself and your family healthy is one of the most important responsibilities you have. Without health, it is difficult or impossible to get our daily work done, attend school or contribute to the household. One option to help make sure everyone is as healthy as possible is taking advantage of a influenza vaccine, such as Afluria.

Among the many flu vaccines available, Afluria is the most recommended as it is one of the flu shots which is preservative free. To protect your family health, It is very essential to choose a preservative free flu shot because you end up adding unwanted chemicals which affects your body and your family, when you go for a vaccine full of preservatives.

While it would be ideal for all of us to have influenza vaccines that are additive free, some of us need it more than the next person. Kids need to have the shot more than most adults because they are around more people in the course of their school day and their immune systems haven't fully developed.

Another demographic that should be sure to get flu shots are the elderly. As we age, our immune systems don't always work as well as they did when we were younger. Something as simple as the flu can quickly and easily turn into a major illness. Getting a flu shot can help the elderly to avoid the flu altogether, thus keeping them healthy.

Some people are nervous about the idea of a flu vaccine. Keep in mind that all of the flu vaccines offered have been approved by the appropriate governmental agencies. They are considered safe for use. If you have questions about them, however, don't be afraid to ask your doctor. They will be happy to clear up any concerns you have about the process.

Flu shots that are free from preservatives are an excellent way to prevent getting the flu without having to spend a lot of money. These shots are usually fairly cheap, plus they can save you money on doctor bills and the money you would lose from missing work if you came down with the flu.

You must ensure your own health as well as that of your loved ones. Getting a flu shot, such as Afluria, is one way to do this. Influenza Vaccine comes in several forms; the aforementioned one is becoming popular because it does not contain any preservatives. People do not need such chemicals in their bodies. Kids and the elderly are most in need of these shots. Finding Preservative Free Flu Shots might take some time and effort, but it is worth it, because no one should have to get the flu.

4 Great Tricep Exercises and Training Program!

Having great triceps is a must for anyone who wants to have fantastic looking arms, the tricep makes up two thirds of your upper arm mass so it is essential that they receive the attention that they deserve.

Twice a week you need to concentrate on working those triceps to ensure that when they are matched up with your biceps you will have arms of steel.

Here are the 4 best exercises to ensure you are hitting those triceps in the most effective way plus a training program that you can start using today.

Exercise 1: Barbell French Press

Lay on a bench and take control of the barbell with your hands approximately 10 inches apart using an overhand grip (the same grip as doing bench presses).

Extend your arms straight up, now bending your arm only at the elbow and keeping your upper arms straight, lower the bar backwards until your knuckles touch the top of your head.

Now slowly raise the bar to its original starting position.

That is one rep completed, it is essential that you have that friend watching your form because it is very easy for your upper arms to move during the exercise and make it less effective.

Exercise 2: Overhead Dumbbell Extensions

This exercise targets the same muscle but from a slightly different angle because this time the rep is completed whilst in a seated position.

Take hold of your dumbbell and raise it directly above your head. Use your other arm to give some support behind your elbow and have your hand facing inwards.

Now you are going to slowly lower the dumbbell to the rear of your head in a controlled way. Concentrate on the tricep and you will feel it contracting and expanding as you complete the rep.

If you have a friend who is working with you this is a great exercise to see the tricep in action.

Another variation on the overhead dumbbell extension is to use both hands to grip the dumbbell as you complete the exercise.

This will target the triceps but from a slightly different angle.

Exercise 3: Tricep Pushdown

To carry out this exercise you need a weight machine that has a cable attachment that connects to the top of the machine so that the movement you apply goes downwards.

There are many different grips to use with this exercise, a normal horizontal bar, triangular bar, rope or hand grips.

They all work the same muscle but in slightly different ways, it is more personal preference, I change the grips on each visit so it is always slightly different.

To do the exercise you need to take hold of the grip so that your fingers are pointing towards the floor, your upper arms are pulled in tight to the side of your chest and your forearms are horizontal to the floor.

Bend your knees slightly to take pressure from your back.

All you are now going to do is move your forearms downwards until your knuckles are pointing towards the floor.

Keeping the pressure on, slowly raise your forearms back to their original position.

Be careful not to use your shoulders during this exercise.

Exercise 4: Tricep Kickbacks

I love this exercise, you do not need massive heavy weights to get the desired effect and correct posture and form are essential to get the most from the kickback.

Grab a bench and place your left knee and shin onto it, then place your left hand onto the same bench (as you would for a dumbbell row) now in your right hand take control of the dumbell and move your upper arm so that it is horizontal to the ground.

The dumbbell should be hanging naturally towards the floor.

Concentrating on your tricep you now move the dumbbell in an upwards motion so that your arm becomes straight and is horizontal to the ground.

When you reach this position make sure you contract your tricep and feel the squeeze.

Now, still under control lower the dumbbell back to its original position.

Tricep Training Routine

- Barbell French Press: 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps

- Overhead Dumbbell Extension: 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps

- Tricep Pushdown: 4 sets of 10 to 15 reps with dropset

- Tricep Kickback: 2 sets to failure

What is a Brazilian wax, or Hollywood wax treatment, and how does it differ from a regular bikini wax?

The terms 'Brazilian Waxing' and 'Hollywood Waxing' are terms often used to refer to the removal of hair in the genital, upper thigh and groin area.

Brazilian bikini waxes have been increasing in popularity since the early 90's, in the UK and rumour has it that Brazilian waxing was introduced to the US in 1987 by seven Brazilian-born sisters. Prices at beauty salons may range anywhere from £20 to £100 or more.

Basically, with the Brazilian wax, hair is removed in front, behind (yes, your bum) and everything in between. Often a "landing strip" is left in the front, but some clients opt for everything removed.

'Hollywood Waxing' refers to the removal of all genital hair and this includes hair removal around the perineum, vagina and anus. It is becoming increasingly common for men as well as women to ask for Brazilian Waxing.

Here are some handy tips when visiting a salon for your Brazilian Waxing experience:)

* Check out the salon that does Brazilian waxing first to make sure it is hygienic and that the aesthetician is licensed. The license should normally be displayed.

* One way of finding a good Brazilian waxing practitioner is to ask friends. It is better not to just take 'pot luck' at any random salon.

* After underwear is removed a beautician will normally ask you to lie down and raise your legs. Talcum powder may be sprinkled all over your bottom, anus and vaginal areas. Hot wax is then spread over these areas and then pulled off with synthetic patches or strips.

* Well versed practitioners will likely minimise the number of repeat applications over the same area. Those less skilled in the art may go over the same area thus prolonging the pain or discomfort. To be avoided!

* An experienced aesthetician will pull off the wax in a clean, fast movement. A less experienced one may hesitate causing more pain.

* As you will be asked to spread your legs and adopt various compromising positions, just act matter of fact about it all and treat it as normal. This will help you and the practitioner feel a little less self-conscious.

* Check that fresh coverings are used for your treatment and that the the waxing supplies are properly sanitised and disposed of in a hygienic way after use.

* Make sure your appointment is a good few days, or better one week after a period so that your skin is less sensitive.

* Make sure the hair is trimmed to a few millimetres. It should be free from oils and lotion so that the patches or wax strips can get a good grip of that troublesome hair.

* Any pain you may experience can be reduced by using an antiseptic cream in advance. You may also wish to apply a soothing lotion containing Aloe Vera or Calamine Lotion afterwards to reduce the likelihood of any itching or discomfort.

Have you heard about the “Law of Attraction”? Have you heard about ”The Secret”, that is transforming people’s lives all over the world?

It is amazing that as we have grown, how much has changed. Since the beginning of time, we have made great progress. It is fact that we are on the breaking point of a new era. That we don’t know what is coming our way. Or wait... do we know?

Things that we never thought were physically possible are becoming a reality. Scientists have cutting edge results, that we are in control of much more than we know. Have you heard about Quantum Physics? They have discovered the universal laws that we must abide by to reach full life potential.

Ok so here it is; have you ever wondered what our purpose in life is? Well it is to be happy of course and to pass that happiness to everyone we know. It is insane that we have lived our lives with our eyes closed. We are in charge of our destiny, and we don’t even know it. We go through our whole life blaming ourselves and others of what we don`t have. That very thing is what is blocking our way of being happy and successful.

The most important law of our universe is The Law of Attraction. To break it down for you and not get all technical, it is what we use in our life everyday that we are not aware about. “The Law of Attraction”, basically what it means is that you attract into your life what you talk and think about. This life is not left to luck or coincidence. This life is left up to you.

An example would be, if you didn’t have much money, were worrying about your bills and not being able to afford what you want, then that would become your reality. Another example would be, if you are having relationship problems and you are always thinking to yourself “why are we always fighting, I don’t know why we just can’t get along”, then that would become your reality. The truth is the more you keep on concentrating on the negative aspects of your life, the more that will become your reality.

What you can do, to transform your life is look at all the positive in your life. Think about what makes you happy, what makes you smile. If you can’t at this moment think of anything good in your life, then fake it, until you believe it. We are blocking ourselves from true happiness, from all good things in life.

The Law of Attraction is for all religions, all races, for everybody in this world. If you are part of a religion, think about what your religion means to you. In almost, every religion they want you to respect yourself and respect others. The Law of Attraction is no secret to some people. Successful people have known and been using the Law of Attraction for a number of years

Here are some quotes:

> "Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life’s coming attractions." Albert Einstein

>“All that we are, is the result of what we have thought.” Buddha

>”There are no limitations except those you acknowledge. Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve.” Napoleon Hill

So do you want to believe? Do you want to start practicing the Law of Attraction? Remember all the power is in you, you are in charge, conscious or not. You must focus and think about what you want. Everything is within your reach. It is essential that you believe with your entire mind and heart that happiness is meant for you!
