The patterns pierced on the leather puppet panels are developed from the southern traitional tales and Thai traditional art such as Kanok patterns, elephants, corals, Thai classical dance, etc. The puppets are usually made of cow hide or buffalo hide. The target customers are generally tourists and hotels. The group also receives international orders. The shadow puppet artists are mostly villagers in Tambon Vichit, Phuket.
