The Eye is a new science fiction thriller starring Jessica Alba. This film was obviously produced before the star actress was pregnant and it does reach some great heights. Paramount Pictures are the owners and distributors of the film. It is essentially about a woman who receives an eye transplant which gives her special powers to see in the supernatural world, some thing she has not seen before.

The cast includes Jessica Alba, Alessandro Nivola and Parker Posey. It is based on a remake from the Japanese film "Jian Gui" and has been compared to the grudge which starred Sarah Michelle Gellar. This is one of the first science fiction films to be released this year to delight the fans of the popular genre.
