Consumers are getting crushed by the soaring cost of gasoline here in the US. Prices are increasing almost daily and people’s budgets are stretched to the limit. However, there are a number of things that you can do to combat these wicked price increases. Following are some proven techniques that can reduce your gasoline costs by 50%.

1. Use regular gas instead of the premium blend if your owner’s manual permits it. There is thirty to fifty cent difference between the cost of regular and premium gasoline. And if your car is designed to run on regular gas, there is no advantage in filling up with premium. Of course, if your car requires premium, you should never use regular as it may cause some damage to your engine.

2. Keep your engine well maintained. A dirty air filter can reduce your gas mileage by as much as 40%. Change the air filter according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. However, if you live in an area that is prone to dust and dirt in the air, you should change the air filter more frequently.

3. Ensure that your tires are inflated to the proper pressure. Tires that are over or under inflated can reduce your gas mileage by a considerable amount. Use a tire gauge to check your pressure. Do not depend on the guage that is attached to the air hose where you get air. They are frequently inaccurate.

4. Slow down! By far the primary cause of most poor mileage is speed. As far as gas mileage goes; speed kills! Traveling at 75 miles per hour as opposed to 55 mph can reduce your gasoline mileage by a whopping 25%. So the next time you are late for an appointment, call them and tell them that you can’t afford to get there on time.

5. Keep your car well maintained mechanically. Worn out spark plugs not only rob your car’s gas mileage and power, it’s stealing the money right out of your pocket. A six cylinder car that has one fouled spark plug is wasting 17% of the gas you buy.

Many people want to create wealth through an online business. But how can you do this? There is no secret formula to create wealth overnight. It is a slow process that takes time and effort to build.

Have you ever noticed that those that work the hardest seem to be the luckiest? It is not a matter of luck; it is a matter of hard work and consistent effort. To create wealth through your online business, you’ve got to develop a good plan and then work that plan every day.

When I first started out with my online business, I worked 12 to 14 hours a day. Slowly, I began to learn the business and make money. That is what it takes to create wealth. But unfortunately, most people are not willing to make that kind of commitment. They are looking for get rich quick schemes that require little or no real work. These schemes almost always fail.

There are thousands of ways to make money and create wealth on the Internet. But almost all of them require an investment of time and effort. By doing a search, you will find many sites that claim you can make fast profits, quick cash, easy money, etc. In some cases, the only quick cash that is being made is by the promoters of those sites.  

I spend the bulk of my day writing and submitting articles. I enjoy writing so it doesn’t really seem like work.

That is the real key to create wealth through your online business. Try to find something that you enjoy. If you can do that, the time you spend on your online business will whiz by and you create wealth beyond your wildest dreams.

Many people question the concept of article writing as web promotion technique. In most cases, people say this if they tried it and got little or no results. The main reason that people feel this way is that they submit just a few articles. You’ve got to write and submit often, at least once a day. Writing articles is a very effective and inexpensive method to build traffic to your website, but it is a marathon, not a sprint. It is a marketing method that you have to work at every day. If you write just two articles per week, I can assure you that you will not be successful. Writing one article a day will bring you success, writing five a day will make you wealthy. Which do you want?

Many people say that it involves too much work or time. While that may be true, the articles that you submit today, will still be out there working for you a year from now. What other promotional technique has that kind of longevity. A typical ezine solo ad will bring you traffic on the day it is run and for a day or two afterwards. Then, it is done. Article marketing is the primary advertising technique that I use. Of course, I enjoy writing articles. I suppose if you don’t like writing it may be difficult for you. Or, if English is not your primary language it might be tough.

If you are either of these categories, you might consider having someone write articles for you. In most cases, it is not too expensive. And when you consider that your articles will bring you traffic and generate income for years, it is probably a bargain.
