The Big Change

A recent discussion I had with a friend involved her wondering why her boyfriend seemed to resent her going to school. Mary and Lars have been dating for 5 years, in those five years she has been suffering from depression. They both have a very comfortable relationship with little change from year to year. Many times Mary was unable to leave the house for weeks at a time due to her depression. Lars also battled many personal problems.  After receiving spiritual guidance Mary has made unbelievable progress. She even takes some mild medication for her depression and she is doing better than I can ever remember seeing her. So what is the problem in her relationship? Well Lars who is a great guy and very supportive of her has basically built much of his life around taking care of Mary. Now that Mary is doing so well Lars doesn’t feel as needed. 

 He will never admit this but I know them both and I know that this is true. Lars says that Mary has become stuck up and arrogant because she is a taking 2 classes and also received a paid scholarship for more education. Mary insists she is as humble as ever but Lars says she is wrong. So, who is right? Well the answer is that both are right. Lars noticed about Mary when we met with her was her amazing confidence. This is what Lars is mistaking for arrogance. Mary use to speak with her head down when we rode a public Bus, she is a pretty girl but always denied this. When I saw her last week we rode the bus together and she was confident speaking in a big crowd. She was very unaware of all the confidence she was projecting. I could not believe this was the same person (The Universe (God) is Loving). There is an expanding energy of source that is always willing to help us and it is beyond what our brains can understand. A person like Lars had become comfortable with a very docile and timid Mary but this is not why the Universe (God) thought Mary into being.

Mary is a creation that must expand. We all are created for expansion. Expansion will often cause an uncomfortable stretch that can cause others to wonder what is happening to you. Their brains have already fashioned you one way and changes cause the brain to react in a new way and must adjust to the change. It is the brain that makes us creatures of habit NOT the soul or the heart. Lars will adjust to the “New” Mary it will take time but he will accept the change. When source moves you will be moved indeed. It has nothing to do with willpower or mind power. This is what happened with Mary when we aligned her with “Source” she was given wings to fly. This is not a temporary change but a different person will emerge when you are aligned correctly with Source.

My paycheck is too low for growth!  In response to the “Who is the Boss” post I received a lot of feedback from people who said their paycheck is too low for growth. People’s number one complaint was bills. I was sent an email that said, “I have so many bills my paycheck leaves no room for any growth”. This is a misconception you must get out of your thoughts immediately. It is based on a philosophy of lack. The philosophy of lack puts your eyes on what is missing. Leaving you to fill-in the gap to fix the problem. This is where we get the lottery mentality, which is where we look for the big score. I am asked how can I say that “paycheck growth is freedom from the boss” when peoples paychecks are very low. Please see the post “Who is the boss”. I gave a real life example of a girl working at minimum wage, “the lowest salary by law” that bought a home in less than a year and rents it out to live rent-free.

First recognize that any bill you have is not going anywhere overnight and this is good. Yes pay your bills but with what is left over and please do not tell me nothing is left over, you use for your growth. Actually it takes no money in this day and age for growth. Growth is everywhere free classes, free seminars, your own business and more. This is best time in history to be living, why? Because the world is Global and starting something new is at the fingertips of anyone who wants it. You can type in the word free for anything on the Internet and you will find it. The great masters taught us. Seek and you will find. The Universe wants you to expand because when you expand it expands in love. Yes the bills are real but those who focus on what is missing will never get out of their own way.

No matter how many bills you have there is someone who had more and started growing. Focusing on a bill never paid a bill, it is only when you are growing that bills fade away. After you have identified the bill…MOVE ON. Yes part of your salary must be for growth, it does not matter how small your salary is or how big the bills are. Do not feel like a failure due to bills; don’t waste your 70 years (some more, some less) on earth worrying on these things. You were created for growth in love. I know a man who started a blackjack game site after work with no money, all from free stuff on the Internet and is now averaging $600 dollar a month. He started this only 3 months ago. How did he do this? Well it certainly was not by thinking how small his paycheck was. And it was small trust me.

Everyday must have some growth in you life, it can even be playing with your children or feeding animals, this can spark creativity. The philosophy of working… paying bills… working… paying bills is slavery and a waste of your 70 years (some more some less). Those who live this way choose this vicious cycle. It really depends on how much you want to change your life. Remember most people would rather complain than try something new this is due to the brain loving complacency. But when new thought emerges science shows the brain grows new pathway of EXPANSION. Why because the Universe (GOD) want you to expand YOU. Amazing but all of creation is on your side. So let others complain how small their paychecks are and how many bills they have. Do not join their pity party, after work you will be doing something for your growth and you will be freed from the cycle. Your bills will slowly disappear as your life expanses. Your bills will leave as gradually as the darkness leaves when the dawn is approach and the beautiful sun slowly appears.
