Studies show that women more than men will question their career or relationship choices. This battle of wondering if they have made the right decision is partly genetic and partly due to our modern society. The Genetic part of this indecision is due to the brain being developed over thousands of years that told women if you are picked by the right mate you will be able to survive.

Women were mainly dependent on a man for survival. When a woman was seen as attractive it was often said, “Thank God she is attractive... she will have a man to support her” This thinking even went on as late as just 50 years ago in the western world and is still the case in many parts of the world today. So we can see that the man or the woman’s family made the decision, the right mate was a matter of sometimes life and death. With the rapid change in the world in only 40 years women have more choices than ever before. The modern woman should really recognize that she enjoys more choices for her life than any other women in the history of the modern world. So where does the problem of doubt come in? Well, the brain is really an amazing thing; it is what is call neuroplastic.

Basically what this means is that the brain is willing to change if your thoughts change. The thoughts control the brain not the other way around. Women’s brains often think in finality, they often see job choices and a mate choice from a deeper final choice aspect then men due. This has nothing to do with the level of commitment. A man may be just as committed as a woman to a relationship but when women make the choice it is a more heart felt choice of finality. The modern female brain is changing though, in just a short time women are now also seeing their choices as something not as a final life altering decision as their mother’s before them did. Now we ask why the doubt? Well in centuries past the choices were less and women did not even have a say very often on whom the mate was. Today with all the choices that women have it leaves the door open as to if they made the right choice or not. Men do not suffer from the same punishment over choice due to the fact that men have always had the option of multiple choices, and in some cultures multiple women or wives.

Well, with the multiple choices that women have today and the flexible changing brain this should all remove female doubt very soon right? Nope, it is not that easy. Women are still heart centered (soul) thinking which means that choices will still hold more meaning to a woman than a man. This does not mean men do not care, they do and sometimes more than a woman. It is the result of the decision where women doubt more than men. Did I do the right thing the woman often asks herself. To a heart centered person a decision is felt at a deeper level. Men’s left brain (Analyzing) thinking will still be motivated by sex, money and logic as a means of security. Women are living in a male dominated world that functions on MIGHT over RIGHT thinking. This equals if you do not agree with me we may go to war thinking (this is how the male brain thinks.)Unfortunately for women this indecision and doubt lead them to often sleeping with all the wrong guys.

Men are experts at taking advance of heart-centered people and it is why men dominate the world by force and women are often used for men’s pleasure. Heart centered people are closer to the Universal creator and their fellow human beings. Jesus said men can also commit adultery not just women and people were amazed at this hear centered teaching over 2000 years ago. So, the answer for women is to follow your heart in a non-heart centered world. If a woman listens to the heart she will find the right choices every time. But a woman must remember that this world is male dominated and you will be seen as weak. Left-brain dominant males will always convince you to do it their way, which will always lead to something that benefits them even if they care about you. Do not let your doubts lead you into bed with some guy you will regret sleeping with in the morning. When in doubt is the worst time to do anything. The heart is slower and deeper for a reason. The answer when doubt arises is to do nothing. Mistakes happen when heart centered people do things on impulse or are convinced. Many women would have been better of keeping their clothes on instead of listening to some left brain dominant male convincing them of all the reasons their clothes should come off.
