~ If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things. ~

~ Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning. ~

~ I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are details. ~

~ The attempt to combine wisdom and power has only rarely been successful and then only for a short while ~

~ Any man who can drive safely while kissing a pretty girl is simply not giving the kiss the attention it deserves.

~ It is a miracle that curiosity survives formal education. ~

~ Dancers are the athletes of God. ~

~ If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things. ~

~ I have no particular talent. I am merely inquisitive. ~

~ Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish. ~

~ Everything is determined, the beginning as well as the end, by forces over which we have no control. It is determined for the incet, as well as for the star. Human beings, vegetables, or cosmic dust, we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by an invisible piper. ~

The Top Three Wallet-Busters

Even if you’re a penny-pincher, you might still be wasting your hard-earned cash in ways you don’t even realize. Here are the top three wallet-busters according to SmartMoney.com.

  • Money waster #1: The grocery store. One of the biggest ways people waste money there is by always buying name brands over generic brands. The fact is, there are some products you should ALWAYS buy generic – like produce and over-the-counter medication. Why? Because bananas will taste the same no matter who grows them and most generic drugs are made using the exact same formulas as name brand drugs. Yet generics cost much less, because grocery stores don’t advertise them. So, they pass the savings on to you.
  • The #2 money waster: is your job. Ask yourself this: Are you taking advantage of all your job’s benefits? If you’re not, you might as well throw your hard-earned salary down the drain. For instance, 96% of employers now offer some kind of 401(k) savings plan. Often they’ll match your contribution – increasing your savings. Plus, the money you contribute to your 401k is a tax write off. Your employer might also offer group discounts on things like car insurance and life insurance. Ask Human Resources about discounts from local businesses because who knows, your job might entitle you to half-off at the local movie theater, or a dollar off your next car wash!
  • The third biggest money waster: Your cell phone. The fact is, most companies offer brand new phones FOR FREE – in exchange for signing a long term contract. If for some reason you have to break your contract, here’s how you get around paying those expensive “early termination fees”: The website CellTradeUSA.com offers a match-making service that lets you trade your unwanted contract with someone else. In other words, they’ll agree to take over your current contract, while you move on to a different plan and you only pay a one time fee of $20.  This is far less than the $200 fee your cell phone company will charge!

Today, exercise your power of creativity to influence the world. Make the world amazing for someone. It doesn't matter if you know them or not or if you see the outcome of what you do. Give them a story they can tell their friends that has no easy answer.

Hide a $20 bill in a library book about working your way out of debt. Set up a diorama of tiny plastic animals outside a stranger's front door. Call a random number from the phone book and tell whoever answers that they are fantastic and that everything is going to turn out alright. Put a copy of Mad Magazine inside a Wall Street Journal. Make a poster that looks like a lost pet post

er that says, "This Cat Is Safe At Home - If You See Him, Get Out Of My House - $50 Reward." Invent a new catch phrase and spend all day trying to get other people to say it. Ask them to page Tom Hanks at the supermarket and when they ask you if it's "the Tom Hanks" tell them it is.

Do anything you can think of that will make someone pause for a moment and consider how strange and wonderful the world can be.

How to Find Work From Home Jobs

The best job sites for finding work at home job postings aren't necessarily the sites that focus on work at home jobs. Many of those sites, unfortunately, do little more than solicit your money. And remember, the first rule of work from home job hunting is never to pay.

Real Work at Home Jobs

Jobs that promise you oodles of money with little investment of time and no experience aren't legitimate. Legitimate work at home jobs are going to require that you have skills relevant to the position. Many jobs require skills like writing, graphic design, programming or web design, for example. If you don't have any experience in the field(s) you are interested in, it's going to be difficult to find an employer willing to hire you. Most employers who are willing to hire someone to work from home want workers who can work independently and get the job done with little guidance.
