O how my heart flutters
hung upon your every word
'twas fate or chance, either way
i'm now entangled in your world

those eyes with fire like a phoenix
contrasting your face, so gentle and smooth
your image emblazoned in my memory
constantly burning through

your deep-rooted thoughts and ideas
always form a beautiful sound
and the way you talk so slow,
your soothing voice has me spellbound

warmth and kindness radiate from you
yet your love is like a mighty shield
ready to take on any battle
protecting and fighting for me
