Cancer Cure Is Available But Your Doctor Won’t Tell You About It

The public is warned against getting information from the internet on curing cancer. New headlines blared that cancer sites posed a health risk. The real reason the media are attacking cancer websites is because the internet is the only place people can go to actually learn the truth about the cancer industry and cures for cancer that don't involve chemotherapy, surgeries, or other radical procedures offered by western medicine. Organized medicine is learning the hard way that people are educating themselves about cancer and about alternatives to treating this disease, and that scares the industry because it threatens profits.
Ideally what the industry wants is a form of censorship -- they want websites to be flagged to indicate which ones are "official" cancer websites.

What's amazing about all this is the level of ignorance they show when they say there is no evidence that any complementary treatment can prevent cancer. In fact, there is a tremendous amount of evidence. And much of that evidence is published in traditional medical journals – so far there is compelling evidence showing nutritional approaches to both preventing and reversing cancer.

There are a great number of complementary treatments that are proven not only to be effective, but far more effective than anything that western medicine can offer. Survival rates for cancers treated by western medicine of patients undergoing chemotherapy are measured in months, not even years. In fact, chemotherapy is largely a fraud. There is no evidence that chemotherapy increases overall lifespan at all. Chemotherapy is only measured a success by the degree to which it shrinks tumors, and tumor shrinkage is not strongly correlated with enhanced life expectancy of the patient.

That's because cancer is not a local disease, it is a system disorder -- it is a failure of the patient's immune system and it is present throughout the body, not just in one place that can be surgically removed. Chemotherapy destroys a patient's immune system, and this is precisely the opposite of what needs to take place in order to prevent cancer. A patient's immune system needs to be boosted through mind-body medicine, nutritional therapies, physical exercise, herbal remedies, homeopathic medicine, acupuncture, and other forms of therapy.

The cancer industry wants to prevent new treatments that actually work but are suppressed at every opportunity. Today, people who are diagnosed with cancer have no better survival rate than a person who avoids western medicine treatments. Advance In Prostate Surgery Will Benefit 1 In 3 Men Over The Age Of 50

As they reach their fifties and beyond, one in three men will develop a condition known as Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, or an enlarged prostate.

This very common condition can have a terrible impact on quality of life. Men experience difficulties passing urine, often having to get up several times a night. More rarely if left untreated, the condition can cause damage to kidneys.

A normal prostate is approximately the size of a walnut. But the prostate is the only organ in the body which continues to grow throughout the lifespan and excess tissue will cause problems by blocking the normal flow of urine.

Like other medical conditions, many men put up with the symptoms for months and even years. They are often embarrassed about the problem and reluctant to seek help. In fact it’s quite often that the wives or partners push them forward to seek medical advice.

Some have fears about the dreaded ‘the prostate operation’ which their father or older friends may have had, resulting in several days in hospital, considerable discomfort and surgical side effects which require a long period of convalescence.

Known as TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate), the traditional treatment for an enlarged prostate is an operation which involves cutting away the surplus prostate tissue using a telescope. Rarely, if the prostate is grossly enlarged, an open removal operation is performed via an abdominal incision. This will require even longer recovery time to get back to normal physical activity.

Now there is a superior treatment which has many benefits for patients.

Green Light Laser Treatment involves vaporising the surplus prostate tissue using a high powered laser.

The concentration of power from the laser is so powerful that it is rapidly absorbed into the prostate tissue. Blood vessels in the target area are also vaporised, so there is very little blood loss.

The laser is delivered through a thin fibre guided into the target area via a smaller and less traumatic telescope. It is a very safe, precise and non-invasive way of targeting surplus tissue.

The whole procedure usually takes just 60 to 90 minutes and patients normally return home within 24 hours.

We know the importance of this rapid recovery period. Many men with enlarged prostates have active and busy lives and do not want an operation which leaves them unable to resume normal activities for months.

Green Light Laser Therapy is now the treatment of choice for the enlarged prostate in America and rapidly replacing the conventional TURP operations.

And the procedure received approval from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) in 2005.

Yet it is currently only available in a relatively small number of hospitals across the UK.

Cancer Drugs - Learning About Cancer Medication

There are many types of cancer that people may suffer from but one thing that stays similar is the types of medication that they may be using. There are many forms of medication that you may be prescribed with various types of side effect to go with each. Your doctor will go over your particular case with you and determine which type of treatment is the best.

Your treatment may consist of such treatments as Chemotherapy, Hormone therapy, Biological therapy, Alternative and complimentary therapy and of course drug treatment. Chemotherapy uses anti-cancer drugs which are done intravenously, by mouth, Injectable and topical applications. They stop the growth of cancer cells as they destroy the cells. This type of treatment is usually done in cycles. They will usually alternate treatments with rest periods to allow the person to recuperate.

Some of the anti-cancer medications that your doctor may use may include such medications as: Hexalen, Elspar, Blenoxane, Xeloda, Idamycin and Doxil just to name a few. Most cancer medications come with a hefty list of side effects. Unfortunately the necessity of the medication makes it almost impossible to avoid side effects. If you suffer from severe side effects your doctor will most likely prescribe another medication to counter act the side effects.

Some of the side effects that you may or may not experience with cancer medications might be: Feeling very tired and weak, more susceptible to infections and they can bleed and bruise easily. Keep in mind that you can use other drugs to counteract the side effects and that makes it much easier for you to undergo the necessary cancer treatment.

Radiation therapy is the form of treatment where they use ionizing radiation. This type of treatment kills off the cell in the area that is being treated. This makes it impossible for the cells to grow back. Often times the area of cancer will be surgically removed and then the radiation and chemotherapy will start. If you choose to do the hormone therapy, this is where you will be given hormones to change the way your cells grow in your body.

Biological therapy is also known as Immunotherapy as it helps you make use of your immune system to help with your side effects from other medications as well as fighting off the cancer cells.

No matter which form of cancer you suffer from, be sure to keep a good line of communication open with your doctor. Educate yourself on all of your medications and be sure to know what side effects that you may or may not experience. Before starting any type of new treatment, be sure to discuss all of your options with your oncologist. He or she will be more than happy to go over your treatment plan in detail so you can be well informed on what to expect. If you find a medication that you are interested in then bring this up with your doctor as well so that he or she can consider it as a possibility or let you know why it is not a good choice.
