What has gone wrong with the financial lenders? Who has the required five (5) times the funds requested to act as collateral? Who has the necessary credit rating to justify such loans?

The business community and those that have a worth while idea or concept should be treated in a more humane manner than they are presently being subjected to.

Using the free enterprise system and its printed money control system simply to promote the major players or some new derivative or the latest housing sales scam does not provide for or protect the existing hard working people who are the backbone of the free enterprise system in the first place.

Existing profitable and operating businesses need a better and more user friendly methodology when it comes to the securing of funds with which to continue and / or to expand and they should be less expensive.

Here is the inside story; if it is good enough for major world governments to use to pay off there debt to the worlds banks and others, it should be good enough to finance a shrinking economic downturn.

Since very early in the 80's, Mexico was first, this system has been responsible for more than two trillion dollars in restructured loans worldwide. The banks and others were saved from huge write offs with what are known as Brady Bonds (click on any search engine on the net and you will find hundreds of pages) what you will not find is how it was done or a link to a anyone that is doing this for businesses.

You will find that here as a company has been keeping the flame alive for the past twenty years with private placements worldwide. As with anything connected with the government, it gets complicated and involved, however this company is willing and able to make the necessary paper work on behalf of the interested clients.

With an economy in a spiraling down turn as we are seeing now, what better and pressing time to turn to this proven system.

A minimum of fifty million dollars would be the starting point under an insurance guarantee and can be activated for up to two hundred million dollars carrying the same guarantee.

The time frame for getting funded is a one year period with a min / max deposit available to the client for a budget during the process.

The financial system does work, but it works best when manipulators are not draining it for their own personal gain. Giving the system a less rigid structure and qualifying methodology will provide a much needed bounce back for the benefit of all concerned now and in the future.

Where has all the common sense gone? It must be in hibernation waiting for silent spring.

When the Toyota Motor Company introduced its luxury Lexus line in the late 1980s, car critics immediately seized upon the brand's Mercedes-like look. No one knew for sure at that time whether Lexus would take off, but within ten year's the brand became the benchmark by which all other luxury makes are now judged.

The Best Selling Luxury Brand In America

Today, Lexus is the best selling luxury brand in the US, selling more luxury cars, SUVs, and crossovers than BMW, Cadillac, Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, and Jaguar. In 2007, more than 320,000 Lexus vehicles were sold in the US, but globally Lexus sells half as many cars than BMW and Mercedes, its chief rivals.

Expect Lexus to quickly close that gap over the next decade.

Setting its sites on expanding internationally, Lexus has a tall order in front of it, one that will take some time to pull off. Recently introduced in China and Russia, Lexus is a proven hit in those countries, but when introduced to its home market of Japan in 2005, the brand sputtered. Lexus was designed for the American driver, building big, luxurious cars featuring advanced technologies. Japan embraces technology more than many other countries, but the brand hasn't been able to translate that success to Lexus. Besides, the Japanese buyer prefers heritage above comfort and attentive service.

Europe, A Tough Nut To Crack

In Europe, Lexus' growth will be met by firm opposition from a host of home grown brands, especially BMW and Mercedes. Both have a heritage that extends back to the early days of automotive building, a loyal customer base, and the engineering to deliver cars that perform exceptionally on track and on road. Though Lexus has made some inroads across the continent, what they need to bring to Germany, France, Italy, and other local markets is a knowledge of how the local car buyer thinks - for those car shoppers a new car purchase is more of an option as mass transportation is quite good. However, when many Europeans buy a new car because they like them.

Looking Beyond Current Markets

Beyond Europe and Asia, a whole world beckons, one with emerging consumer markets, flush with new car buyers - some very wealthy - who want to be pampered and offered cutting edge technology and comfort. With the back of the Toyota corporation, Lexus' expansion globally is likely to continue, redefining luxury leadership while spreading the Lexus name internationally.

A Japanese wonder who came and gave all he had for the medical breakthroughs to health. This man came, he saw, and he conquered.

Haraku Hashimoto was born in 1881 and grew to be one of the top surgeons in his country Japan. Hashimoto died in 1934. Before he died he discovered a significant fact that brought major help to all concerned. The autoimmune system of our body though made to protect it will for unknown reasons attack and destroy it. Hashimoto discovered that the thyroid a small gland located at the base of the neck was a target of this unknown cause where the antibodies turned on its own host, especially the thyroid.

An autoimmune disease is one when the body's immune system becomes bemused and believes that other organs, cells, or tissues are of unknown nature and a danger and therefore will attack them instead of protecting them. One factor of the body that the immune system will attack is the thyroid. The thyroid helps maintain the rate of our metabolism, which is the rate which the body uses energy. Upon attack the thyroid will stop or not generate enough hormones for the body to work the way it should.

The symptoms are from none to several. However, the most common systems are feeling tired or fatigue, depression, weight gain, dry skin and hair loss, muscle cramps, and shortness of memory. There is confirmation that Hashimoto's thyroid disease (named after Hashimoto) in general is genetically contracted. To really know if you have the disease, your doctor will perform and simple thyroid disease blood test to determine if your thyroid gland is producing the correct amount of hormones.

The treatment for Hashimoto thyroid disease is hormone replacement therapy. This is done by taking a small, sugary pill every day. There are a few hormone replacement medications out on the market but the most common is the Synthroid medication. Regular blood tests must be made to be sure the dosage is producing enough but not too much of the hormone. Should the blood results come back unsatisfactory; the doctor will adjust your medication.

Diet is also an important factor in controlling Hashimoto's thyroid disease. Ask your doctor to give you a guide on the foods that will strengthen your immune system and perhaps return it to its proper function. Diet for thyroid disease should be high in fruits and vegetables that produce their own vitamins. Hashimoto's thyroid disease can be managed with medication and a diet for thyroid disease developed especially for the patient can help the patient feel better in the long run.

As a non-political/apolitical type its not in my nature to form particularly strong opinions when it comes to government matters, however yet again our UK system is letting the population down. Unless they do something pretty radical and step in I fear we're heading for a denationalised health system where it's "every man or woman for themselves"..... basically the wealthiest get to live, the rest can go fish.

A decision on the 4 main new kidney cancer drugs Avastin, Nexavar, Sutent and Torisel is due to be made by N.I.C.E at the beginning of 2009. Given how successful these drugs have been across the globe in extending the lifes of patients it would have seemed a no brainer decision for a so called developed western country like the UK. However a memo has been leaked suggesting that the decision will be negative and that these drugs are not cost effective and will not be available on the NHS. Can you imagine how devastating this news is to the 1700 people/year that are diagnosed with advanced kidney cancer.

I know we all hear the phrase "what's the cost of a life?", and we all equally know that this is impossible to quantify, however, lets step back a bit and look at what the NHS originally set out to achieve. I think the mission statement went something like this:

Everybody, irrespective of means, age, sex or occupation shall have equal opportunity to benefit from the best and most up-to-date medical and allied services available...free of charge

I may have got the quote wrong, however, your get the gist. So, we have clinically proven drugs, recommended by the top kidney cancer specialists in this country, used worldwide, especially in the US where they are prescribed as a matter of course. Yet somehow in the UK this idiotic group of people called N.I.C.E chose to ignore all that and put a cost on a human life at "Something under £30,000/year"

These people are beneath contempt and have no moral backbone, all probably with private health care cover and therefore will never have to suffer the indignity of having to fight for the right to a drug that will extend their lives .... Shame on them, and shame on the fools that set this group up in the first place. It should be run by those who have the interest of the patients at heart, not the pockets of the government accountants.

I was equally as outraged by the response from my local labour MP in Watford, Claire Ward who decided the best thing I could do was to contact Cancer Research as this wasn't a government issue and was a decision for N.I.C.E and the PCTs.... Well heaven help us if this is how our elected MPs respond.

Im stuck in an airport at the moment but will write more on the subject and try and spread the word by using article sites as they seem to raise awareness.

I am however glad to see that the Times and the BBC wrote news items on this, they're well worth checking out.

Mesothelioma diagnosis involves various steps like finding the extent of the disease using imaging techniques and biopsy. The imaging techniques using CT scan, MRI scan or PET scan gives a clear diagnosis of the disease. Biopsy is also recommended by the doctors to be sure about the type of cancer.

A biopsy is a technique used for mesothelioma diagnosis which involves extracting a small sample of the fluid or tissue from the affected area which is examined by the pathologist. This fluid or tissue is removed with the help of a thin needle inserted into the affected area.

During the course of mesothelioma diagnosis, the first biopsy is done by removing the fluid around the lungs. Sometimes the doctors might do a tissue biopsy instead of a fluid biopsy to get better result. Laparoscopy or thoracoscopy are also conducted during mesothelioma diagnosis when a small incision is done and a tiny camera is inserted to the affected area to get a picture of the affected place. Also a small tissue sample is removed to analysis the tissue by a pathologist.

Depending on the affected area, the biopsy during mesothelioma diagnosis can be conducted in different ways:

Thoracoscopy - If the cancer is present in the pleura, a thoracoscope is inserted through a small incision through the chest wall to get a tissue sample. If fluid is accumulated in the chest, the doctor drains out the fluid by putting a needle into the chest and use gentle suction method to remove the fluid. This process is called thoracentesis.

Peritoneoscopy - If the cancer is present in the abdominal cavity, a peritoneoscope is used to get a sample tissue for further examination. If fluid is collected in the abdomen, doctor drains the fluid out of the body by putting a needle into the abdomen and using gentle suction to remove the fluid. This process is called paracentesis.

Once the mesothelioma diagnosis is confirmed by pathological examination and a pathologist issues a pathology report. The following tests can be conducted, if the doctor recommends further examination.

Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) – this technique is widely used in mesothelioma diagnosis. In this technique various biopsies of pleural lining, nodules, masses and pleural fluid can be done with minimally invasive procedure along with other therapies done alongside like pleurodesis for pleural effusions. Several small ports or incisions are done through the chest wall wherein small camera is inserted and other instruments are used to take samples of tissue. With the help of a video screen showing the camera images, the surgeon can complete all necessary procedure. This procedure is a more viable option as compared to thoracotomy which involves larger incision to reach the chest cavity.

Immunohistochemical Markers for Mesothelioma

A diagnosis of any kind of cancer also involves a process where other forms of cancers are ruled during the course of diagnosis. Even in the case of mesothelioma, the most common “differential diagnosis” is between that of adenocarcinoma and mesothelioma. During the biopsy procedure, once the surgeon removes the tissue samples, it is sent to the pathologist at the laboratory for further examination. Here slides are made of the tissues and then viewed under the microscope by the pathologist.

Then an examination is done describing the tissue, which is then placed in a plastic cassette using fixative to preserves the tissue permanently. Once the tissue has been fixed permanently, paraffin blocks are made which allows the pathologist to slice off thin microscopic sections which is then stained to verify the patient’s diagnosis.

Immunohistochemistry is a process of examining and recognizing cell types based on the binding of antibodies to specific components of the cell. Through this process the disease is diagnosed as mesothelioma or adenocarcinoma (or any other kind of cancer).
