The regular practice of meditation leads the soul of contemplation,another type of mental prayer in which the mind and will dwell upon God's nature and perfections.but those already advanced in the way of prayer will derive great profit from contemplation. Contemplation consists in adoration and admiration.One can start from the consideration of God's power and greatness as manifested in the things He created. A loving admiration of the divine is the highest summit of prayer;but no practice contemplation habitually requires that one should be completely centred upon God. Meditation puts us in contact with a radiant energy coming from states beyond the Physical World.It is the powerful current from Divine Love,Consciousness We are only aware of our body and mind.We are oblivious to our true nature,the Soul.In Meditation,when the Body and Mind are stilled,we become aware of our nature as Soul. When the Soul meets the Divine current it is Magnetised.When our Soul concentrates at the point where the current begins,at the third eye it will be drawn to merge in it.We then start to travel on this current.Our Soul rises above Consciousness of the body and enjoys a journey into higher realms.
