It's possible (and quite easy) to use a cool animated Screensaver as your desktop image.

1 Go to http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/icons_screensavers/wallsaver_nwwnetwork.html, Apple's website. This is the download section where you can download an application called Wallsaver.
2 Download Wallsaver and once activated, your desktop will use Flurry as it's default.
3 Optional: Change the preferences and screensaver to your liking

Tips

You can use a slideshow of pictures as a screensaver. Just create an album in iPhoto with the pictures you want to use.
