It's been a tick since we saw the oh-so-snazzy RoverPC G5, and we must say, the RoverPC P6 cranks up the sexy by a few orders of magnitude. The Windows Mobile 6-based handset, which is sure to make those not in Russian mighty envious, sports a 300MHz Samsung 2442B processor, a 2.4-inch 320 x 240 resolution touchscreen, 64MB of RAM, 128MB of Flash ROM, a microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth, miniUSB, a 2-megapixel camera and a built-in media player to boot. Additionally, the phone checks in at just 15.1-millimeters thick, rocks a dark gray motif and touts tri-band GSM connectivity. So go on, pick one up for around 7990 rubles ($323) -- just don't rub it in when you do, alright?
![]() First of all I never like the original Sony Mylo. The screen resolution just wasn’t there and instead I went for the Nokia N800 Internet Tablet which has that gorgeous 800×480 screen. Now, we’ve spotted something what seems like the second generation of Sony’s portable communicator. We know it will have WiFi, but other than that we can only speculate. I just hope someone from Sony’s reading this - we want faster CPU than the N800/N810 has, more RAM (N800/N810 has 128 MB), Bluetooth and the built-in GPS. Ok, even without the last mentioned I’m ready to buy it, if it’s affordable enough. We’ll see where this goes...
The Samsung SGH-i607 BlackJack II launched over the Turkey weekend and we’ve got an unboxing video for you guys to ogle - courtesy of WMExperts. If you like what you see, head on over to your nearest AT&T store and grab your very own BlackJack II for about $150 (after contract, of course).
It’s like the Samsung U600 isn’t already one of the coolest looking phones on the planet, the Korean giant decided to additionally spice it up with the good ol’ Gold (yes, there’s the big “G”). The end result is staggering - the U600 Black Gold limited edition looks better than any other slider. Period. Unfortunately, the specs remain unchanged — including the same quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, 3.2 MP camera with auto-focus, 2.2″ QVGA 262K color screen, 60MB of user memory and microSD expansion slot — so if you want a 3G, you’ll still have to go for the U700. I guess with this phone, Samsung goes for the money-savvy, rather than tech-savvy people…
