Aric valy made a documentry about Honey Hunter and it hit the world's eye about the risk the Gurungs put to reap honey from the mountain bee’s hive. Everyone liked the documentary and praised the work of these brave Gurungs.
These Gurungs became like a celebrity overnight after the release of the documentary. After few years of the release of the documentary, they were back to the normal life. The only one thing they gained from the documentary was fading and they were paying the same job that didn’t pay them.

Mr. Gore Gurung of Siklesh Village shot the video of the honey hunter again for his film Herbe chah. Mr. Gore Gurung is an actor and director of several Gurung Films. His films create special bond between nature, culture and of course the Gurungs. After the completion of his film he build a house and donated one lakh rupees to these Gurungs.

People like Aric Valy and Gore Gurung have done their best in promoting the rural and unique lifestyle of Gurungs. Now it’s time for the all Nepali to promote and help these Gurungs, so that they keep on promoting our land. It’s time to find ways to cash them so that they keep the legacy of Honey Hunter.
