What Are You Willing To Do To Achieve Your Weight Loss Goals by Rob Cooper - Former Fat Guy

What are you willing to do to achieve your weight loss goals?

I’m approached quite regularly about which diet is best, which
book would I recommend and what exercise program should a
person follow. People think they can just purchase a book to
read and then some sort of magic occurs whereby reading it
will cause their fat to magically disappear. Well, I’m here
to break the news to you, the $40 investment in your weight
loss book is just the start, there’s a lot of hard work and
other expenses involved.

Time Investment

There’s time invested in your education (reading, watching
videos etc), time you’ll spend exercising doing both cardio
and weight training. There’s time spent creating your new
meal plans as well as preparation of those meals the day
before or days in advance. There’s time involved in doing
extra laundry because you’re suddenly doing more exercising
now on your weight loss journey.

Let me ask you this: What’s your favorite television show?
How much television are you watching in a given week? 1 Hour?
Six? Are you willing to eliminate television to allow
yourself time to go to the gym and prepare foods for the next
day? If not, then don’t bother buying books that recommend
food and exercise programs? It takes time to prepare food for
5 or 6 meals in a day and to go to the gym once or twice a
day. Weight loss requires a time investment.

Food Investment

The quality of the food you put in your body is directly
proportional to the quality of your cells. It’s your cells
that create energy and make your various bodily systems run,
and if they’re given the best quality food, then they’re able
to regenerate and be healthy.

Conversely, low quality food creates a low quality cell. A
low quality cell is not up to the demand of generating energy
nor the proper removal of wastes which then results in
sickness and disease.

In conversation with a fellow regarding his food program and
how he could make corrections to his diet to improve his
health, burn fat, improve his workouts and achieve his weight
loss goal, I suggested a few “new” products. Oatmeal, some
whole grain wraps, spring mix salad, and Essential Fatty Acid,
Almond butter and whole grain basmati rice were a few places
to begin.

“You didn’t tell me how expensive it was going to be!” was his
response.

Well, I don’t consider it expensive, so I would not have said
that it was.

Our cells are our power plants in our body. Our body is
constantly rebuilding itself daily and hourly. Our skeleton
replaces itself once a year and the muscular lining of our
stomach and our intestines is replaced every 3 to 4 days so it
only makes sense to give it the highest quality food. Doesn’t
it?

You’re probably going to come to the same conclusion that most
other people do. The food I put in my body creates a healthy
body and I must take care in my food choices.

Whole grain oatmeal costs more money than cocoa puffs. Raw
almonds cost more than hickory smoked almonds and you probably
never knew what Essential Fats or Pro Biotics were. Weight
loss requires an investment in food.

Cutting Expenses To Reach Your Goal

If you’re not able to increase the amount of food you eat
financially or the quality of the food you eat (organic), then
what are you willing to do to get it. Are you willing to cut
some other costs? Are you willing to increase your sales at
your job or home business to be able to afford this new
change? The first reasonable step is to make some switches or
replacements. Take note of non nutritional foods in your day
- consider snacks, junk foods, coffee, pop, cigarettes (I hope
you’re not still smoking), milk or dairy products, alcohol,
vitamins, tums, Rolaids, pepto bismol etc and see how much
you’re spending on a daily or monthly basis. Are you willing
to replace these for higher quality nutritional foods that
will support you in your weight loss goals? It can be a scary
thought for some people. Others accept the challenge readily
because they’ve truly committed to their weight loss goals and
are willing to do Whatever It Takes! Switching and replacing
is the easiest thing to do. Weight Loss requires sacrifice.

Invest in Yourself

Your body, your mind, your soul and becoming the best you can
be is the single best investment you can make. Make the
decision to eat the cleanest food you can, make the healthiest
choices you can, begin to switch from non nutritional foods to
nutritional foods and let go negativity in your life. Weight
loss is easy, but requires some investment.

Ovarian Cysts by Pieternel Van Giersbergen

What are ovarian cysts? A cyst is a little balloon filled with air or fluid on one of the ovaries, which then exerts pressure on the right or left side of the lower abdomen. These cysts can be painful. Besides the pain in the lower abdomen, some other symptoms are: erratic, painful periods, often with much uterine bleeding as a result of elevated estrogen levels, painful intercourse, heel pain, and excessive hair growth.

When the ovarian cyst bursts the pain is relieved, though in some cases the cyst may reappear.

The incidence of ovarian cysts is on the rise, particularly among women between 14 and 55. Let's look at some of the main factors that contribute to the development of cysts, and then the main things we can do to prevent them.

Causes of ovarian cysts:

Increased use of birth control pills, especially depo provera.
Increased consumption of hormone-infused foods such as most
commercial meat and milk, to which growth hormone has been added.
Stressful, frantic lifestyle.
Imbalanced, not natural diet.
Obesity.
A toxic, overburdened liver.

How can we diminish the likelihood of ovarian cysts?

Consume healthy, that is, organic meats and milks. Eat lots of fresh vegetables and drink abundant water.
Use a natural progesterone hormone cream.
Increase your liver metabolism and detoxify. Your allies here are the natural tinctures of olive leaf, dandelion, milk thistle seed, and artichoke.
Check your thyroid.
Stop smoking.
Loose weight.

When all is said and done though, it really comes down to a healthy lifestyle. This means to be true to yourself, not wishing yourself to be different. The hard part, oddly enough, may not be acts of “heroism”. Rather, it can be dropping parts of ourselves which are not worth holding on to, but we cling to from sheer habit. Your health is in your hands. So take excellent care of yourself - you are WORTH it!

Warmly Pieternel van Giersbergen.

If You Want To Achieve Your Goals - Then Get Motivated by EdnaMelendez

Don't you hated when you start to do something in particular and all of the sudden you find yourself distracted once again doing something else, without finishing what you set out to do in the first place?

It happens to me all the time. I start the day focusing into one thing and then by the end of the day end up doing something completely different.

I think some people get bored doing one thing only, so we are easy to get side-tracked.

That's why I decided to investigate more about Setting Goals. I found some great information and decided to setup a site to help others as well into Setting their Own goals and sticking to them until they have achieved them.

Here you will find some usefull tips for getting your goals into shape and achieved.

The key to successful goal setting is your ability to motivate yourself and stay motivated until you have achieved your goals.

Stay focused...it is extremely important to take your goals seriously and you will achieve any goals you set your mind to do.

First, let's take a look at what motivation really is.

Motivation is not a product of outside influence; it is a natural product of your desire to achieve something and your belief that you are capable of doing it

Positive goals that are geared toward your pleasure are much more powerful motivators than negative ones that are based on fear. The right combination of both is the most powerful and motivating mix.

Now let's look at what you can actually do to motivate yourself and stay that way.

1. Start with visualizing your future success and model the feelings you'll experience when you achieve it

2. Mentally walk the path towards this success and base your feelings at different milestones on the way

3. Assign a high priority to each task that you must achieve which will give each task a priority in your mind

4. Set a target for the amount of work you will do each day toward your goals

5. Visualize the desired outcome: Create a picture of what the desired outcome will look like, and have this vision in your mind at all times

6. Set milestones of the things you like to do and the things that you are good at

7. Use visual indicators to monitor progress and complete the task

8. Give yourself affirmations to remind yourself of how capable you are at reaching your goals

9. Watch movies that motivate you

10. Listen to music that motivates you

11. If you work better with competition, make a deal with a friend or family member to compete for the goal for example who gets there first! It can be hypothetical and doesn't necessarily have to be for real

12. Get help and support from people around you or from a professional in the field for example a personal trainer, finance manager etc.

13. Define your own version of success, don't let others define success for you

14. Ignore any negative influences or responses to your efforts

15. Make a conscious effort to do better than you have ever done in the past

16. Focus on the positive achievements and not the negatives

17. Share your successes with others as this will keep you focused and help you voice your accomplishments which will realize your achievements for you

18. Acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses and work onthem both

19. Train yourself to finish what you start by refusing toquit until you are done

20. Don't be afraid to make mistakes and don't punishyourself for making them Express your goals in a positiveway. That is a key component to setting goals that you canattain.

Express your goals in a positive way. That is a key component to setting goals that you can attain.

IQ Level - Who Cares? by Steve Gillman

What is your IQ level? What is 'intelligence quotient anyhow? The American Heritage Dictionary defines it as 'The ratio of tested mental age to chronological age, usually expressed as a quotient multiplied by 100.' More or less, it's a test of intelligence, with 100 as the average score. IQ tests have some problems however.

One IQ test asks which of four fruits is different. It's the one with more than one seed, but what if you weren't familiar with these fruits? The test is culturally biased, because it assumes certain knowledge, yet is supposed to test for intelligence, not knowledge.

Look at these letters: 'ANLDEGN.' Rearrange them to spell the name of a(n): Ocean, Country, State, City or Animal. Tests are timed, so I start with oceans, since there are few oceans, and thus I can eliminate these quickly. The problem is that this is a test taking technique I use, and an intelligence test shouldn't be testing test-taking ability. I'll score higher than a person of equal intelligence who hasn't learned simple techniques for scoring higher on multiple-choice tests, right?

Real Life Results vs IQ Levels

An imperfect test is better than no test, and it is entertaining. I recently took an IQ test, and although I don't think my IQ is really the 138 it showed, it was fun. Of course you'll score higher on a good day than a bad day. Try these tips to make it a good IQ test day:

1. Breath deep through your nose.

2. Sit up straight and close your mouth.

3. Drink a cup of coffee, tea or other caffeinated beverage.

4. Exercise enough to get your blood pumping faster.

5. Eat or drink Ginkgo Biloba to increase blood flow to your brain.

By the way, what was Henry Fords IQ? Who cares! He was one of the most innovative people of the last century, and he did what he did by surrounding himself with intelligent people. This practice alone must be worth more than 20 IQ points. Do you see the point?

You want real life results, right? If you want to be more creative, learn creative problem solving techniques. To concentrate better, learn techniques for that. Learn speed-reading and you'll have double the knowledge in the same time. Once you paint your first Mona Lisa, build your first skyscraper or make your first million, who will care about your IQ level?

Steve Gillman has been studying brainpower enhancement, creative problem solving, and related topics for years. Subscribe to his free Creative Problem Solving Course, and get a free gift at: http://www.ProblemSolving101.com

The Easiest Way To Achieve Happiness by song chengxiang

People always think that what they want is money, relationship, material possessions, but what they truly want is happiness. Wealth, health and relationship are just the rewards of being happy. Happiness is a state of vibration that is in harmony with the universe. As you have already known, the same frequency vibrations tend to attract each other, so the vibration of happiness is going to attract more wealth, better relationship and better health, since these things is going to add more happiness to your life, and they are in the same vibration. If you go after money, you may not get it, if you go after happiness, money will flow to you. The same apply to relationship and health.

I believe the ultimate goal in life is to achieve a state of well being, or we can simply say happiness.

Is there an easier way to achieve happiness? The answer is Yes! and I am now going to show you how.

I had learned one phrase from Dr Wayne Dyer, and I would never forget. The phrase is ' How may I serve?'. Dr dyer said that before his seminars, he will always sit for mediation, and repeat the phrase as a mantra 'How may I serve... How may I serve?'. He never bring any notes with him, and when he speaks, the words just keep flowing to him. He knows exactly what to say, and what to teach. Dr Wayne Dyer is one of my best role model. He has achieved great success in almost every ear of his life. I believe the one single most important element to Dr Wayne Dyer's success is this mantra 'How may I serve?'

Ask yourself now 'How may I serve?'. This is the key to ultimate happiness and fulfillment in life. I would like to share some of my own experience.

The most enjoyable things in my life at this stage is writing articles that can makes a difference in the quality of people's life. Whenever I finish writing an article, I feel the positive energy all over my body. I sometime get puzzled myself, where does this information come from? How do I write so many articles, having thousands of people read my articles every week? I finally realized the secret is within this phrase 'How may I serve?'.

Every time when I write a article for my newsletter, I sit in front of my computer, and ask myself 'How may I serve, How may I serve?'. Strangely, the ideas will come, and I put my fingers on the keyboards, then words just starts following.

I didn't understand how this process works, until one day I realized that the information does not come from me, it comes from God (or the Higher Intelligence), I am only an channel for the information to flow. I am a channel that God has created to serve the world. Because that is what I am here for, so when I am serving, I feel positive energy, and I feel happy.

I have learned that my life purpose is to serve, and I think this is applicable to everyone. This is what God wants me to learn, this is also what God wants you to learn. You will only truly feel fulfilled once you realize this truth. 'Your life purpose is to serve' I am sure you have heard of that 'If you seek happiness for yourself, it will always elude you, if you seek happiness for others, you will find it for yourself.' I know this is why every time I finish an article, I feel so happy, because I know that my article is going to benefits thousands of people, and It is going to change the world to some extend. Maybe 90% of people will not take any action after they read my article, this is nature of human being., but I know as long as they read, their awareness is expanded, and they will see the difference in the long run. For that less than 10% of people who do take actions, I know my words are going to change their lives for the better. What a great thing I am doing! I am proud of it. I am feeling so happy about it.

So start from today, find ways to help other people . Find some way to serve. You will get addicted to it, because it is so enjoyable to help. Your help is going to change people's lives.

I often receive emails from my subscribers asking me for help. You can imagine how happy I am after I answer their questions? I know that this person's life is going to change for the better just because of my words. How wonderful that is!

Here is an secret I want you to know...

The person who benefits the most is not the one you give service to, but yourself. You may find it sounds strange, but this is true, and it is governed by the universal law of cause and effect. Anything you cause others to experience will come back to you, and multiplied. If you cause others to experience love, you will find more love in your life; If you cause others to have wealth, you will have more in your own life; if you cause others to succeed, you are guaranteed to succeed. This is the law of the universe, and it never fails.

So, whatever you want to experience in your life, cause others to experience first. This is the most powerful ways to attain your own desires, and the easiest way to achieve happiness

Song Chengxiang is known to thousands as a teacher in the areas of 'manifestation' and is the author of popular titles such as ??Rapid manifestation- How to get everything you want fast.??
