Getting Started With Online Dating by David Chastain
For anyone who is new to the world of online dating, things could get a little confusing. Online dating differs from real life dating in many ways. One of the key differences is that with online dating, all of the action is done via the internet. Individuals or groups of people who want to meet other people for social purposes, romantic attachments, or just to make new friends can do so through the means of online dating services. This is a new, fun, and exciting way to meet people. Almost everyone is getting in on the action when it comes to online dating services. It has been assessed that approximately 1out of 5 Americans participate in an online dating service. There are numerous online dating services that cater to all types of people. Individuals ranging in: age, interests, and that come from different demographics, and various walks of life. The numbers of people who are participating in online dating services are on the rise. More than ever young people nowadays are using this method, as their main route to meet people. They see nothing shameful about this way of socializing. Plus, the anonymity that online dating services provide, they also find appealing. After all, participants of online dating services don't have to meet the individuals they communicate with online in person. Not until they feel they've achieve some level of trust, and comfort with the other person. In the end, a participant always has the choice to meet or not to meet. The more reliable online dating services are those that require memberships from participants. They have a given set of requirements that must be met before anybody is allowed to participate. This allows the online dating service website to accept or reject aspiring members. Some of these online dating services are not free. They charge a monthly fee for the services they offer. Subscribers to online dating services are asked to create a profile which contains a picture of the subscriber and other useful information. This is where the subscribers get to post some basic personal information like interests, hobbies, and the description of the type of persons they'd want to connect with. The great thing about this is the subscribers have a chance to express themselves, and show their personality through their profiles. Also, they can specify exactly what they are looking for. The subscribers are then matched with fellow subscribers who match their descriptions. Afterwards, it is up to the subscribers to pursue the connection with the other subscribers that they've been matched with. This way of self advertising on an online dating service doesn't differ much from a personal, which basically operates on the same principle. These are the little pop-ups that appear on a lot of websites on the internet. It basically relays basic personal information, interests, quotes, a picture, and contact email of the person who has posted the personal. Any interested party can then contact that person. The great thing about online dating services is that participants get to choose the persons they're going to communicate with. Plus, they get to read their profiles ahead of time, so they'd pretty much have an idea about what type of a person they are dealing with, before they make contact. The downside to online dating services is that not everyone tells the truth on their profiles! Some married individuals have been known to lie about their marital status online. This has been an ongoing problem that has plagued the online dating service world since the beginning of its inception. But a lot of online dating services are now enforcing more stringent rules to crackdown on this problem. Some are even doing background checks to make sure aspiring subscribers don't have a criminal record. This adds to the safety of the members of the online dating community. The availability of online dating services makes this an appealing option for anyone who is looking to meet new people. Now, with the popularity of online dating services, the interactions people can have are not only limited to their set of friends, acquaintances, and co-workers anymore. It is so easy to partake in an online dating service. Anyone who has access to the internet can do so. Now, with just a simple click of a button any individual can be launched into the new and exciting world of online dating. “Are You Lonely?” Discover How to Join the World of Online Dating And Remain Safe and Secure While Searching for “Mr. or Ms. Right!” http://www.push-button-online-income.com/online-dating Article Source: Getting Started With Online Dating http://www.7paradise.net http://www.bestfreecode.com http://www.googgoo.co.cc
5 Fast Tricks for Keywords & Traffic by Teena Hughes
It seems as though every [wo]man and his/her dog either has a website, wants a website, or is talking about websites. One of the most frequent questions I get is, *How do I use keywords?*. Good question. * * * * * * * * * [I bet others of you are asking, *What's a keyword?*. A keyword or keyword phrase is what people type into a search engine to find websites.] * * * * * * * * * But let me first ask another ... how many people in the known universe [who have a website] might use the same keywords as you? Ten? A hundred? A thousand? More? OK - let's assume it's a hundred other websites, all vying for the same keywords as yours. When you do a search on a search engine [for example google.com] you get *ten* results on page one. That's right. Ten. Out of a hundred possible competitor pages. Last time YOU did a search for anything, how many search engine Results pages did you laboriously flick through? One? Two? Five? Yeah, that's right ... boring if the answer isn't on page one, isn't it? * * * * * * * * * So what's my point?? * * * * * * * * * Well, instead of trying to appear in the first 10 results for one specific keyword or phrase [which is already overpopulated with competitors], why not choose another phrase? Instead of the *exact* phrase you think is the most important, you might be surprised to discover you could choose a different phrase, which is searched just as often, but which you hadn't thought of targetting. Think outside the box - if you're selling *monkey shoes*, and goodness knows there might be a lot of competitors for that :o>, narrow it down and add some focus. Where are your customers? Are they looking for you in your town, or State? If yes, add the name of your town or State to the keyword phrase you use in your webpages. Or is there something else *unique* about *monkey shoes*? If yes, use that in the keyword phrase. I just searched for: monkey shoes and discovered there are 3,300,000 results. Phew! Over 3 million!! What would your potential customer type in that search box to narrow down *their* search? What about: monkey climbing shoes, or shoes for one-legged monkeys That narrows it down considerably. OK - so you're not selling *monkey shoes*, and you don't even KNOW a one-legged monkey. But you are trying to get people to your website. Here are a few things you can do to set up your keywords in your webpage, and to bring visitors from unexpected sources ... * * * * * * * * * On your webpage/s * * * * * * * * * 1. Put the keyword phrase on your page four times. You don't want to overdo it, it must read well. 2. Put the phrase in the two of the metatags. Use the TITLE, KEYWORDS or DESCRIPTION metatags. 3. Put an image at the top of your page. In the ALT tag for your image, add the keyword phrase at the beginning, like a description. For example: [start tag]img src='yourimage.jpg' alt=“Monkey Shoes for Aardvarks'[end tag] ** Please note - instead of square brackets you will need to use these > and these * * * * * * * * * Resource Box * * * * * * * 2005 ?Teena Hughes Teena Hughes is a webpreneur who provides an online automated website builder, provides website hosting & domains, and small biz services. 5 Print Ad Essentials! by Matthew C. Keegan
Writing an effective print ad, particularly a classified advertisement, requires that you remember five essential points. Failure to implement these points correctly can cost you much in the way of time lost and a sale missed. You've just cleaned out the attic and straightened up the garage. You've identified items you no longer need, but they certainly have a cash value to them. You could really use the money, but you don't want to post the information on eBay. What to do? You create a classified ad! Unlike in times past, the classified advertisement you run with your local paper will more than likely have exposure beyond the printed copy. Smart newspaper publishers, knowing the inroads that the internet has had on their businesses, now allow advertisers to have a copy of their advertisement appear online. This is important as newspaper readership is dropping rapidly as internet usage continues to climb sharply. Still, a printed copy is smart especially if the classified ad section of your local paper is popular. When designing your ad, you need to come up with an eye grabbing title. The title you choose will help the reader decide whether they want to read more or continue scanning their eyes toward other ads. List the item you are offering for sale predominately within the name of the title. If you have several items to sell, consider a catchy title such as, '30 Year Contents of Attic' which will indicate to readers that you probably have antiques. If you state, 'Assorted Sporting Goods' you will attract people who are looking for a bowling ball, fishing equipment, children's toys, etc. The key is attracting the reader and encouraging them to read your ad. Beyond the title, the following five points will help you in your campaign: 1. Be descriptive The clearer you present what you have to offer for sale, the better your responses will be. 2. Do not abbreviate Not everyone understands what an abbreviation means. Spell it out and erase all doubt! 3. Specify the price Particularly if you are selling just one item, list the amount you want for that item. 4. Highlights I like ads that stand out. If the newspaper offers decorative symbols, characters, or fonts use them to draw the reader's eyes to your listing. 5. Ad campaign One day listings only work for popular items. Do you believe your item will sell if you list it for just one day? If you list it longer, you can always cancel the ad. Remember to find out what the newspaper's policy is about online ads too. Your buyer may only see the ad online. Some newspapers will design the ad for you, if you find writing ad copy to be a difficult task. Not everyone is gifted in writing clear, concise copy. If they want your business, they should be happy to provide this service. Announcing the Best Guarantee in a Long Term Care Policy by Don Adams
Are you 60 to 70 years old? If not you, maybe a family member? Then you're about to discover something that could help prevent the total devastation of your personal estate. Truth is, it's likely the most important asset you could ever own. Here's why. For over 24 years, I have helped hundreds of individuals understand and implement money saving ideas. From birth to death I've witnessed families in every financial situation. As my clients age (and me, too), I can tell you without hesitation the biggest fear of growing old is losing your ability to remain independent. We might be living longer, this doesn't mean we're living any better. Chronic disease is rampant... and it strikes with a vengeance when you least expect it. How many people who have experienced a stroke knew it was going to happen to them? How many anticipated that particular moment when they began to forget things? The facts speak for themselves. Literally millions of Americans require long term care... either in nursing homes, day care centers, assisted living facilities or in their own homes. And the cost of providing long term care is rising with no end in sight. Think it won't happen to you? Well, I'm sorry. Because this article doesn't try to convince anyone about the likelihood of their needing care before they die. It's intended for those who understand and appreciate the importance of arming themselves with protection against the horrific expense of long term care. In fact, this article is ideal for those who have already looked at traditional types of long term care policies and are trying to determine which type is best for them. One of the biggest objections to buying a long term care policy is that if the benefit is never needed the premiums paid for the policy will be wasted. This is somewhat like buying automobile insurance. You have to pay the premium in order to get your car repaired. But what if you never have an accident. Is that considered losing your premium? Funny isn't it? People hardly question paying for car insurance, but they frequently resist doing so for a long term care policy. So... what if you could always get your premium back - guaranteed - if you never require any long term care? And, what if you die before receiving long term care? Wouldn't it be great if your loved ones could recover 100% of your premium expense? How about this? You actually use up all of your long term care benefit. And then you die. What if your family could still get back 10 percent of your premium. Now if you know anything about long term care policies you're probably wondering why you haven't heard of this type before. One reason is because it is non-traditional and not included in the mainstream marketing of long term care policies. Another is because it takes a large sum of money to buy the policy. $50,000 is typical and it's a one-time single premium, which means you will never get stuck with a premium increase. It is not uncommon for people between 60 and 70 to have large sums of money stashed away in bank CDs earning low interest. Kind of an emergency fund. Transferring a portion of this fund into the policy makes sense because the money continues to earn interest. Besides, it usually pays more than the bank... plus, the policy interest is tax deferred. It's also common for people this age to have old life insurance policies with significant cash value. Many times it's possible to transfer the cash into the long term care policy and still retain a meaningful death benefit. And the future long term care benefit could easily be worth over one million dollars. This policy has a 90 day waiting period before benefits are paid. The length of the benefit can be as short as 4 years or as long as your lifetime. You can also get a 5% compound interest inflation protection rider to help keep up with the rising cost of care. The name of this policy is MoneyGuard. It is a universal life insurance policy with a long term care rider. The issuing life insurance company is Lincoln Life, a subsidiary of Lincoln Financial Group. By the way, this policy was initially developed by First Penn-Pacific Life many years ago. They have years of experience and an excellent reputation. Lincoln recently bought First Penn-Pacific. Ask your life insurance agent to get you more information about this single premium policy. For the right situation it is absolutely the best guarantee in a long term care policy. Veteran financial consultant Don Adams provides easy to understand advice on a wide variety of money matters. “How Great is the Strength of Your Belief?” by Martha Lanier
Be careful what you believe because that is what you will experience. Your belief system is a mechanism which is uniquely yours. It is powered by your desire and controlled by your thoughts and actions. In other words, your success is measured by the strength of your belief. What is it that you desire? Often people do not have a clue what it is they want, they just know what they do not want. Now is a good time to evaluate your goals and determine the end result you want to achieve. Put your goals in writing and place them where you can see them throughout the day. Read them frequently to keep them fresh on your mind. • Be inquisitive. Research and learn as much as you can on how you can achieve your goal. Use all possible resources such as books, CDs, courses and people. Yes, people. Talk to as many people as possible who are already successful in what you want to achieve. Ask, ask and ask some more about what they did to reach success. Do not limit your contacts to only the people you already know. Introduce yourself by phone or mail, explain your purpose for contacting them and ask for a tip. The worst thing that can happen is that they ignore you. The best thing that can happen is that they become your mentor and offer support and encouragement. Chances are you will receive at least one great tip from many of the people you contact. This method is the least expensive and most rewarding. • Be unique. Next, take the ideas you learn, embellish them and come up with your own creative process. Think of how you can approach your goal in a way that no one else has. Dare to be different. Don’t be afraid to take risks. What do you have to loose? Write out a list showing the worst things that could happen and then list all of the best possible outcomes. Always maintain your concentration on your desired result. • Be better than your competition. When you were a child and saw your older siblings or friends riding a bike (without training wheels), you didn’t look at their scraped knees and elbows and say, “Whoa, I could get hurt doing that.” Instead, you begged to try it for yourself. With a great deal of practice and often pain, you gradually learned how to maintain your balance. Before long you were trying to “out do” your friends with your speed or fancy tricks. When you fell, you would get back on and try again with even greater determination. From your very first effort, you believed in your mind that if you got back on, you would eventually learn to ride. I bet you even knew in your mind you would be the best in the neighborhood, in your school, in the state, in the world! • Be positive. If you see obstacles before you, then you will also only see problems. If you have hesitations that you plan will not work, then it will not work. If you are influenced by the power of negative people, then you will never be any better than they are. Believe in yourself and what you are capable of achieving. When your desire to succeed is stronger than the pain, fear or frustration of failing, there is no turning back. I challenge you to view your goals just like you did when you were a child before you learned about self doubt and negative criticism. Remember, anything is possible as long as you believe. Make a commitment that you will not let anything or anyone, including yourself stand in your way of reaching your goals.
