Once you know how to make a myspace page there are hundreds of different uses for it. They can vary from looking for romance to looking for people with common interests like poker or online gambling. The reason so many people are on myspace is partially because of its ease of use.

Before you can start making a myspace page you will need to have an email address, this can an email address from a free service such as yahoo or Gmail.

Once you have an email address you can start to open your myspace account

To open your myspace account you will need to enter your email address, first and last name, password, country and zip code

Now you will be asked to upload a photo, the photo does not need to be of you, and you do not need to put in a photo at this time you can always upload a picture at another time.

The next step is inviting other friends to myspace, all you have to do if you want is to input in your friends email addresses and they will automatically become friends with you if they start accounts of their own.

You can now see your myspace page and start to modify it. there are 2 basic views in myspace. When you log in you will see a page that only you can see. This page contains the control panel to make changes to your myspace page and the other view is to view it as others see it online.

Now that you officially have a myspace page you are probably asking how to make a myspace page that is all pimped out

By going to the link market Edit Profile you can answer a series of questions about yourself to help identify you to others on myspace, this is also the section where you can modify the look of your page this can be anything from adding a background picture to modifying the look of the menus on your myspace page.

To change the look of your page you will need a myspace editor. There are many of them available online and they are all free and require no download.

Once you have found one just follow the directions and it will produce what is called HTML code. This code is then copied from the editor into your about me section and then once it is saved it can be seen by anyone who goes to your myspace page.

Myspace is a great way to meet new people, and a fun way to keep in touch with friends from around the world. They also offer groups that can be joined for free giving you a forum where like minded individuals can gather to discuss what ever is on their minds like the upcoming elections or maybe the online gambling ban that has stopped 8.6 million Americans from being able to play their favorite games like poker and blackjack on the internet for real money.

Now that you know how to make a myspace page and how it can be used you can have yourself hours of fun talking to people about anything around the world.

Modern living has become much more technology based and sedentary, with virtual entertainment being the most popular pastime of choice. This has obvious effects upon health and the world has startling increasing obesity levels. Although technology is not to blame, rather than the people who choose to use it, more could be done to integrate technological entertainment into a more active lifestyle.

Research has consistently shown that listening to music improves mood, and the most recent findings suggest that music actually gives a cognitive boost. Listening to music during exercise improves most people`s performance in a number of ways. Music provides an encouraging rhythm which synchronizes with the movement during exercise, and which helps push further. It also distracts from event. The iPod has already helped many sports enthusiasts to enjoy their regime more fully, but now the iPod can offer some real assistance.

The iPod with sport shoes consists of two elements; a music player and a pedometer. These two items have been important for the runner for a long time, but now the iPod version has many additional features. The device works as follows; a sensor fits into the sole of a specially designed sport shoe. The receiver is plugged into the iPod which has the battery power, the memory and all required software installed. The sensor detects footfall like any other pedometer, and sends the information through transmitted radio waves. Each device has its own unique code and so even if there a few runners using the iPod accessory, only your information will be received. Another clever feature is that different sensors can be used on a single device, so more than one person can benefit.

The real beauty of the this kit setup is the extent of the information transmitted. It sends to the device the number of calories burned, but also calculates speed using equations which consider foot fall and the amount of time the foot is spent on the floor. Other information provided to the iPod includes distance and comparative statistics to previous performances. Goals can be set on the software and the results will state how your performance compared to your goals. In addition to this, the device allows you to create play lists for your workout.

Although the level of information is excellent, it is easy to read whilst working out. The iPod come with a click wheel which acts as a control whilst running. The information is not just stored on the screen, but is also provided by a computerized voice system. The device is easy to use overall, with the required software already installed in the latest models, with the software available to download for older iPod`s through the online update feature.

Once the workout is complete, the statistics can be stored on a computer. There is then the option to join a huge online iPod community where information uploaded from the device can be shared with other runners. This can be helpful for goal setting and to set challenges. Running enthusiasts can compare information, and even share routes with an innovative mapping function. This additional feature of services gives an excellent social dimension to an often lone sport. It is amazing that this can be done online.

Overall the benefits of the iPod with sport shoes include advanced equipment which combines two important elements for sport; music and information. The device is lightweight, compact and the software is top of the range. It helps improves health, through enjoyment and factual assistance, and is available for all users despite the age of their model.

The Advice You'll Receive When Pregnant

By: Audrey Okaneko

I remember when I first announced that I was pregnant. Two things happened. I began getting phone calls of congratulations and I began getting advice.

Today, it is 20 years later and I’ve continued to get parenting advice through the infant stage, the toddler stage, the young adult stage, the teen stage and now the adult child stage. Everyone has advice to offer.

So, how can you stop yourself from going nuts with all of the advice? Here are a few of my suggestions.

Listen to those who you want to listen to. There is always something to be learned. You may pick up a tidbit of what to do or you just may be persuaded to never try something that is being offered to you as advice. I have had women over the years offer advice to me that I knew was exactly what not to do.

If you don’t want to listen, simply say “thank you, right now I’m just on information overload”. Most folks will stop when asked to stop. When I was pregnant, I had some health issues. I was following the advice of my doctor. I think everyone I spoke to either knew someone or knew someone who knew someone else who had been through what I was going through and everyone wanted to help me. I simply said “thank you so much for caring, however I really need to listen to my doctor, I trust her 100%”. At this point, most folks stopped offering their advice.

Through the years as I’ve had various parenting questions and parenting dilemmas, I have most definitely solicited information from others who had walked in my shoes previously. Again, listen to and take in what you find useful. If the information gets overwhelming, then once again thank people for their concern and change the subject.

Anyone who has been pregnant and had a child will have information and advice to share. It’s up to you how much you listen to and how much you say “no thanks”.
