Neo Optic is certainly a Norwich success story that now deals with some of the leading brands and names in UK business. Neo Optic has established itself as a leading web design and e-commerce driving force that has also attracted people from the world of showbiz.
Merchants of Colegate was host to some of the UK's leading business entrepreneurs to celebrate the launch of Neo Optic's achievement's and new website. One of the first VIP's to arrive was The Lord Mayor of Norwich, councillor Jeremy Hooke "It's important to acknowledge companies that are projecting Norwich to the forefront of Norfolk business growth" said Jeremy "It's a pleasure to be here"
Representatives from Amber Models UK praised Neo Optic for their personal service and the role they played in enhancing their web presence in parallel to media coverage over the past couple of years. The UEA online booking website was also masterminded by the Neo Optic team and continues to sell tickets to concert enthusiasts across the country.
Norwich born Hollywood actress Melita Morgan added glamour to the event and gave her stamp of approval to the new look website "Even though I have enjoyed global movie success I remain a Norfolk girl at heart" she said "I will always support local business ventures concerning Norwich" Melita has recently starred alongside Samantha Morton and James Fox in Harmony Korine's cinematic masterpiece Mister Lonely.
North Norfolk County Council appointed Neo Optic (Via a leading local agency) to deliver a fresh new site design along with W3 standards compliant, fully accessible HTML templates to integrate with their CMS. The project was completed in time, to a tight deadline and incredibly strict accessibility requirements.
Merchants of Colegate restaurant conjured up some delicious canapes to accompany a grand Champaign reception much to the approval of their prestigious guests. The impressive line up included Laithwaites Wines, Virgin Wines and Tessa Reynolds from Sandra Reynolds Modelling Agency "We have been working with Neo Optic for many years" said Tessa "They have always provided an excellent friendly service Our clients and models are always commenting on how stylish, fast and user-friendly our site is"
Some of Norfolk's leading fashion experts combined forces to produce a fashion show at Dunston Hall in aid of 'Balloons for Hearts' charity in East Anglia. The Event bought together some of the regions top names including hair specialist, Max Giammello, who conjured up some amazing and colourful creations. Talented MUA, Hollie, from 'House Of Frazer' Chapelfield, Norwich, complimented the whacky hairstyles with some fine Givenchy products. She said: "It's a real pleasure supporting the charity and representing Givenchy at this excellent event" Amber Models UK organised a bevy of beauties for the show after being approached by Max Giamello with the fund raising idea "It's not something agencies are readily able to do" said promoter Andreas Yiasimi "We totally respect the models time and effort needed for a function at this level. Most of the credit must go to the girls that volunteered to help out" The North Norfolk agency couldn't have been contacted at a better time with the official launch of the company in August "It's a two way street at this stage" explained Andreas "Not only are we genuinely helping out, we can use this type of platform as a test run for what I have planned after August. Besides I'm sure all the reputable businesses involved can see our quality and what we are capable of for future bookings" The theme running through the show was tartan, complete with bagpipes that greeted an enthusiastic audience. The runway came to life with an array of extravagant clothes supplied by love couture of Norwich and shoes by Mima Lee. The tremendous support overspilled onto the surrounding gardens at Dunston with popular event suppliers, Edge Charter moving into the action. The Dunston Hall grounds were transformed into a scene from a James Bond movie set with Austin Martins and Bentley's gracing the entrance to the marquee. Director of Edge Charter Simon Lee said "It's all about supporting Norfolk and making people aware of our beautiful county. We hope that other lucrative companies across the UK are attracted with what we have to offer. What better way to view the Norfolk landscape than from an Austin Martin DV6! It's a privilege to be a part of this outstanding event today" Local sports personality, 21 year old, Tom Ashton arrived with his racing car to add to the glamour. The Southwold based former East Anglian Motocross Champion seemed at home at this prestigious function. Proud Father, Peter Ashton, was also present. Tom posed for photographs before the fashion show, he said "It's wonderful to be involved and give something back to a community that is helping me climb the ladder in the first place. My ambition is to achieve as much as I can in motor sports because it's a passion for me. When I was a kid I use to watch dad race so I guess I'm following in his footsteps, Today I'm mainly here to support the charity" This extraordinary show bought together some vibrant up and coming personalities from Cromer based agency, Amber Models UK. Glamour model, Polly Guy, made the unusual crossover to the catwalk to show her dynamic diversity and to support a worthwhile cause. "I love the fact to be diverse" explained Polly "If people give me a chance like this, then I'm very grateful for it's an excellent opportunity to work with girls from different walks of the industry. It's important to be adaptable but also to know your limits" The fashion evening opened a door for curvy and controversial model, Shelley Perfect, to prove a point. Recently shrouded in a barrage of media coverage over the size zero dispute, Shelley strolled effortlessly down the runway like a true natural. She said: "It's absolutely fantastic to be walking down this catwalk as an example to all the curvy woman out there that it can be done. For the first time in my life I am proud for who I am, It's actually a buzz doing this and it's an incredibly sexy feeling having such a warm response from the crowd" Miss Norwich, Rebecca Richardson added a pageant feel to the proceedings after just returning from the Miss England competition in Leicester. She said: "It's fantastic to be involved in something like this, the Miss England competition was a good experience but I now intend to use my Miss Norwich title to help others and charities like this one. It's great to work with all these nice girls" Poppy Rose Antoniades added an International flavour to the show and created London media awareness via her strong Greek connections. London Greek Radio had interviewed Poppy the night before the event and opened the door to world press. This polite, friendly natured top celebrity fashion model travelled on the morning of the show sporting an extravagant dress that she designed together with Adrien and Joan at all saints arts centre, Poppy dazzled the audience in this bright yellow dress that complimented her beaming smile. Poppy is no stranger to the limelight and had previously modelled for Givenchy - Harrods, Eye TV UK Ltd, Shopping Channel and Starbazaar TV Shopping Channel but to mention a few.
