Rosacea is a common but often misunderstood condition usually affecting white-skinned people. It begins as erythema (flushing and redness) on the central face and across the cheeks, nose, or forehead but can also less commonly affect the neck and chest. As rosacea progresses, other symptoms can develop such as semi-permanent erythema, and dilation of superficial blood vessels on the face.

Preparation prior to Treatment
          Since even slight changes in the face are easily detectable, the following preparations are necessary:

1.  Regular face cleansing
2. Avoid facial bleaching
3. Refrain from drinking alcohol beverages prior to treatment for at least a week 

Capillary Treatment
          Laser treatment is applied for capillaries of at least 2-3 mm size. For best results and depending on number of capillaries, repeat treatment for 1-3 more times within 2-4 weeks.
Duration for Treatment
          It takes 5-30 minutes depending on number capillaries treated.
Treatment Results
           In cases where numerous capillaries are treated, scab may develop which is expected to peel off within 3-7 days after treatment without residual scars.
