Obesity is a worldwide problem, with the likes of North America, China, Japan and many other countries reporting alarming statistics among adults and children of all ages. More than 1.2 billion people in the world have been classified as overweight. A reliable weight loss system is certainly needed in all countries.

Child obesity is of particular concern, with poor nutrition and lack of exercise being targeted as the main culprits. Changes to food marketing and a ban on celebrity endorsements of unhealthy meals and snacks are urgently being called for in an effort to reverse the obesity trend.

With the progress that has been made over the years with our general health, there is now grave concern that this advancement could be reversed if we do not contain the obesity problem. The question is: is there a weight loss system available that guarantees permanent weight loss?

In looking at trends in some countries: China calculates that 1 in 10 city-dwelling children are obese, with some 14.8% of primary school boys being obese and some 13.2% of them being overweight. In Japan, obesity in nine-year old children has tripled. In the United States, 31% of adult males and 33% of adult females are obese.

It is traditionally thought that fatty hamburgers, sugar-laden sodas and lack of exercise are familiar culprits in the obesity crisis sweeping developed countries. New questions are being raised, though, about other possible conditions that could make you fat, like lack of sleep, for example, or industrial chemicals that could be disturbing our metabolism.

It is generally thought, though, that people have become fatter because an increase in calorie intake has not been offset by an increase in physical activity. Diets have moved from being plant-based to high fat, animal-based diets. The consumption of food high in fat and sugar is increasing throughout the world, while the consumption of cereals, fruits and vegetables is considered inadequate.

There is now a weight loss system that works on adjusting your food intake routine. This system suggests that traditionally we are eating the wrong foods at the wrong time of day, so that the body doesn't burn calories efficiently and stores fat. Obesity, then, can be controlled by ensuring your body works efficiently through an intake of food at certain times of the day.

The "Shifting Calories" weight loss system encourages shifting certain types of calories eaten. You eat a regular four meals a day, but because you adopt an irregular eating pattern your metabolism stays high and you lose weight.

An enjoyable aspect of the Shifting Calories system is that you have access to a variety of food, including vegetables, proteins and fruits, as long as you shift the food around as per the Shifting Calories eating plan.

The Shifting Calories weight loss system is being used successfully by thousands of people worldwide to achieve permanent weight loss.

Fast Weight Loss Questions Answered

Quick and fast weight loss looks to be becoming an increasingly popular practice amongst Americans. Dieticians, psychologists, personalities and talk show hosts appear to be springing up with new fad diets that force you to drop your excess weight the fastest. Unfortunately, fastest doesn' t necessarily mean healthiest and fast weight loss might be detrimental to health and a predisposition to weight gain in the future. As fast weight loss shocks the body into dropping pounds quickly, you will notice that once a person resumes normal eating patterns, or even treating themselves periodically, they will gain back weight, and often times put on excess weight in the process. As fast weight loss definitely has its gains, especially when obesity creates acute health problems, it could also create a few problems that could lead to further illness in the future.

The following information will give you a heads up on some of the fad diets and dieting tricks that will help you drop weight quickly, in addition to some of the side effects and health risks you may experience, so that you could make an educated decision about whether fast weight loss is for you.

Cosmetics or Health: What's Your Motivation for Fast Weight Loss?

Fad diets seem to be the greatest way to lose weight quickly, however they should not be used as a long term solution to weight management. Fad diets are meant to help the dieter to quickly drop weight for various reasons. They frequently work by cutting out a major portion of the regular diet, forcing the body to burn calories on the food that is provided. This is most often recognized by fad diets like Atkins, Fit for Life and Slim Fast all cut out a major portion of the average meal. On the Atkins diet, people stock up on protein and eliminate carbohydrate from their diet. This allows the dieter to eat a major total of fat, as the carbohydrate is not present to stick to the fat.

This diet creates obvious problems with things such as heart disease and cholesterol, as the body cannot safely consume a great deal of fat. The Fit for Life diet maintains a higher metabolism by forcing the dieter to eat or drink only fruit and water until noon, at which time they may sensibly eat as they wish for the rest of the day. This works on the principal of boosting the metabolism in the morning, then again this could cause a person to go into hyperglycemia, sufferingfrom symptoms similar to diabetes. Slim Fast twice daily might essentially end up giving the individual more calories than they would eat in an typical meal, only not supplying them with the nutrients necessary to maintain a healthy diet.

Often times, people don't actually need to lose weight; they just want to as it would make them feel better for a special occasion. In this case, people should use techniques such as drinking additional water, cutting out salt, and eating foods that are easy to digest for the day or two prior to the event. Crash dieting is not suggested, then again momentary periods of cutting out food groups are unlikely to cause heaps of damage, providing a normal diet is resumed.

The unfortunate reality this day and age is that most people have vested financial interest in creating articles for the general public to read. Just follow the money and your answer will reveal itself.

Even I am not immune. The sole reason for me writing this article is to get you to visit my website. Plain and simple. However, the difference comes in the quality of the information that you receive from each individual article that you read. Once you understand that there is a financial interest in every word to read, you start to take certain claims and "studies" with a grain of salt.

A great example is all of the articles and "research" that say how well a certain weight loss pill works. You read these articles and get to the bottom and there just happens to be a link for a weight loss pill website.

Do you think that the article is going to have some biased information?

Absolutely.

People don't make money by telling the whole truth. I really love it when they place in small print, "When used in conjunction with reduced calorie diet and exercise".

But, the worst thing about this remains that the people giving the "recommendations" for a particular diet plan or weight loss product have no idea what they are talking about. They do limited research and because they reside "online", these people are generally immune to any potential lash backs because of misinformation.

Also, be extremely wary of articles and or recommendations that seem a little too one sided. If a product doesn't have any side effects or a plan doesn't have any bad points to it, I'd be a little cautious. I'd venture that the pluses aren't as "plus" as they'd like you to think.

The propagation of misinformation is prevalent in today's online society as "get rich quick" husksters promise big money to uneducated people who in turn, promise big results and guarantees from the huskster's products.

Don't fall for it...

What a painful bore it is to get in shape.

Even though those who live to exercise like to claim that others are merely too lazy or too spoiled by the modern sedentary standard of living to exercise on a routine basis, this is not always the case.

Some people have far too busy daily schedules to force in another thing that sucks up all the time and energy from the day. And it is not just that, but there are still a lot of folks who find the continuous repetition of the same actions mind-numbing boring. The truth is that exercising can only be thought of as a time of happiness by individuals who care for such things, while others manage to focus their full consideration on the consequences and turn their back on the uninspiring routine.

If you are unable to feel passionate about or stop even remembering the tedious portion of an exercise program, then you will predictably think of exercising as a load.

Regardless of how you really feel, this posture is pretty bad for your well being. You may have a highly paid job that takes away all your waking hours and you may assume that you can tank it until you get older and can afford to lay back and lighten up. But this nice plan doesn’t always pan out the way that you want it to.

As you age you have to face the fact that you are going to age and as you age things fall to gravity.

Here’s the problem with that butchered thinking and that is by the time you find yourself getting older you may not be in a position to lay back and chill out and your physical condition may not be in top shape specifically because of lack of exercising. Straight foward activities like 30 minutes of running or heart pumping activities each single day can go a long way toward arriving at old age with a well heart and a better shape than most.

It seems many folks are impressed by prosperity, but wealth cannot purchase your healthy youth back, not to even discuss the fact that often times they are also without direction when it comes to happiness.

If your demanding life has led you to develop health maladies like hypertension and high cholesterol, then monetary possessions is not going to repair these health problems. But even just a bit of physical activity every single day could make the difference in your aging body. It should also help keep you from obtaining a spare tire around your abdomen. So while aging is no laughing matter but getting more mature and looking flabby and squishy is even less of a matter to laugh about.

So physical fitness can be no fun at all and time consuming and doesn’t always cause you to take a deep breath and relex in any way, but it does help your body handle the stress and it does help your stamina at all levels.

It is a known fact that most of the members of the opposite sex will also find a body that is in shape and tone and one that is not overweight more attractive than someone who is out of shape. So stop crowding your life with so many activities every single day and give yourself the gift of time and open up your schedule for some time to take care of you.

Phentermine is one of the most popular anti-obesity diet pills known to dieters across the world. It is a diet pill used for the short-term management and treatment of obesity.

Temporary side effects including: blurred vision, dizziness, dry mouth, sleeplessness, irritability, stomach upset, hest pain, nervousness, pounding heart, difficulty urinating, mood changes and breathing difficulties usually disappear within a few days of using Phentermine. However, Phentermine can be very addictive and if abused, can make some of those side effects permanent.

Phentermine works by stimulating the hypothalamus gland and affecting certain neurotransmitters to decrease appetite. The hypothalamus is the region of the brain that controls the autonomic nervous system, regulating sleep cycles, body temperature, appetite, etc.

Proper Use of Phentermine

Phentermine should be taken on an empty stomach, once daily, prior to breakfast. If in tablet form, the tablet may be broken or cut in half. Do NOT break, crush, or chew tablets.

As Phentermine may disrupt normal sleep patterns, avoid taking a dose late in the day. If taking more than one dose a day, take the last dose approx. 4-6 hours prior to going to bed.

The following information is specific only to the average doses of Phentermine. The recommended dose of Phentermine may be different for different patients. If your dose is different, do NOT change it unless your doctor tells you to do so.

Adults under Age 60

Adults Age 60 and Over

A reduced dosage may be necessary. Consult your physician.

Maximum Dosage Recommendations

Take Phentermine ONLY as directed by your doctor.

Do NOT take more of it

Do NOT take it more often, and

Do NOT take it for a longer time than your doctor ordered.

If too much Phentermine is taken, it may cause unwanted effects or become habit-forming.

Please speak with your doctor if you think that Phentermine is not working properly after you have taken it for a few weeks. DO NOT increase the dose.
