I just wanted to say that when it arrived, I had no trouble connecting it to my laptop (IBM Thinkpad T series) without some sort of Y-cable cord. It has worked very well so far - I have backed up a few times and everything works perfectly.
I rate this product a '5' so far because it's small, light and works well. I have had no problems so far. I got a case for it from WD and it is the black hard case. A nice portable hard drive I have used this portable hard drive for one month. It works very well, and easy to take. But the USB cable is too short, so you must put it very closed to your laptop. Great Drive!!! After reading some of the below average reviews on stand alone wd hard drives I was a little hesitant to purchase one. But I went ahead and ordered the 160 gig passport drive anyway. This drive has worked flawlessly. It was easy to set up the way I wanted it, and I can read or write to it quickly. All in all I would purchase another one in the future, and I recommend this drive to any one who needs portable external storage!!! |

Does not support MP3/WMAUpconversion for SD720p/1080i resolutionIncludes Warner Bros' 300 HD DVD and Universal's The Bourne Identity HD DVD (packaged inside)Customer Reviews: Great player, I got a bad one :( I had problems with mine freezing on start up right from the get go. I updated to the newest firmware 2.0, unplugged it over night, reset the clock numerous times and every other trick I could find in the forums. Had it worked I would have kept it just for the beautiful job it did upgrading regular DVDs. After a week of trying everything I returned it for a refund.
Like any electronic device occasionally you get a bad one. Bummer they are going the way of the Dodo I knew that HD DVD was going to be on the losing end of the format war but purchased the player anyway when the price point hit what a good up converting player would cost. It is hooked up in my bedroom to a 37' LG 720p LCD Television and looks beautiful. The picture is fantastic, I would say about 20% better than the HD I receive from the cable company, and the sound is superior as well. I will need to purchase a Blu-Ray for my main family room system in the near future but will enjoy burning through the remaining HD DVDs on Netfilx in the coming months before they are discontinued. Toshiba HD-A3 HD-DVD Player Great product for their low end model in Hd Players. I knew that this HD format was going to lose out to the Blue-ray format when I purchased this Player, but what do you have to lose when you get a dvd player that upscales your old dvds to 1080i it's a no-brainer must have. I will get a Blue-ray some day when Sony comes down to earth in their pricing. For now I can sit back and watch some old classic movies on this fine quality unit. |

Dynamic, closed-ear headphones with up to 32 dB attenuation of outside soundLightweight and comfortable, ergonomic designExtended frequency response and warm, natural sound reproductionCollapsible ear-pieces for compact transportEarpads, headband padding, and audio cord are easily replaceable, ensuring long lifeCustomer Reviews: Great Product Great mids/highs. Lows are very decent as well. I mean who can expect loads of bass from headphones anyway? They're pretty comfortable also, I am able to wear them for a couple of hours at a time without problems. Godd choice for a good price Pros:
-I no longer have to listen music at high volume. Thereby low stress on my
ears and I can be assured it is not leading to slow deafening.
-Good noise reduction for the price
Cons:
-Although there are cushions on the ear piece, you still feel the pressure around your ear. I have to remove it every half hour to ease the pain on my ear for few minutes. May need better design. I guess this is what you can expect for a low price.
-A bit bulky if using for travel purpose. Great headphones I love these headphones. I've been using them for over a year and they are the best I've used.
These do not actively dampen outside noises, but they cut out a noticeable amount of background noise. With these headphones moderate volume music, they block out all but the loudest and most abrupt sounds.
I've worn these on about 50 airplane flights and I was satisfied. Just having the headphones over your ears on a plane cuts out a bunch of the higher pitch wind and engine noises. You can still hear the deeper engine tones. With music on (ipod 50% volume) again they cut out even more of the background noise.
A common complaint is the low amount of bass, and it is a fair claim. Personally I enjoy a healthy dose of bass and these are fine for me. If I use and equalizer setting with low bass like a vocal setting then the lack of bass is very apparent.
The weight of these headphones is something I've dealt with. You will not forget you are wearing them.
The highlight to me of these headphones is the clarity and quality of the mid and high sound spectrums. The bass is clear but weak.
I would highly recommend these for the sound quality and noise dampening for 100 or less. Shop around for a deal because they are a no brainer to buy for 80 or less if they meet what you are looking for. |
