Government Auctions For Smart Buyers by Bobby Wellman

Let's start by posing a few questions. What is the difference between the person driving a Mercedes and the person driving a Kia? What is the difference between the person who rents and the person who owns their own home? What is the difference between the person who rides a Huffy mountain bike and the person who rides a Suzuki Hyabusa 1000? I'll wait, let me you a minute to ponder these questions. What did you come up with?

If you said that one person has more money than the other, sorry to tell you, but you're wrong. If you said that they both wanted to have different things, you're still wrong. Or did you say that one person is smarter than the other, close but still wrong. The difference is that one person knows exactly where to shop to maximize every dollar that he has and the other person does not. Hear me out on this.

You see, for what ever reason most people always assume that the only way to purchase the things that they want is from private and commercial vendors (online stores, physical stores, dealerships, pawn shops, flea markets, retail shops, etc.). When dealing with these vendors, everything is priced so high (to compensate for commisssions, storage fees, and other middle-man costs) that the average person decides that they cannot afford whatever it is that they really want so, for most of their lives, they settle for less and buy something that they appear to be able to afford. Sound familiar? And then you have those people, who we will now call 'Informed Buyers' who discoverd that the US Government and it's affiliates are also vendors.

The FBI, IRS, DEA, financial institutions and other federal agencies, also the local police seize and take away millions of dollars worth of tangible items from people and businesses alike for whatever reason (tax evasion, repo, fruad, illegal activities, etc.) on a monthly basis. Items like cars, trucks, R/V's, semi trucks, motorcycles, boats, homes, fine jewelry, furniture, electronics and just about anything else you can think of. They then have to pay to store all of these items at storage facilities which are owned by individual companies. The government has no use for all of this stuff so they want to sell fast to keep there cost down, and the only way to sell it fast is to sell cheap, and this is where you and I can make out like fat cats. Nothing they sell sells for market value, NOTHING. You can literally purchase thousands of items for pennies on the dollar and all you need to do is to get access to the list so that you can know where the next auction will be held in your area and what items will be for sale at that auction.

As I said before, many vendors, including car dealers depend on you not being aware of this fact thus making a killing off of the mis-informed. You are now beginning to become an 'Informed Buyer' and you now have an opportunity to begin to shop like it. It is a fact that the 'Average Joe' will spend thousands more on mediocre products than the 'Informed Buyer' would spend on the most luxurious of products.

There are several online auctions sites that will provide you with lists of the thousands of items for sale each week through the government auctions whether online or live. However, Gov-auctions.org is by far the best so I have no desire to even mention the names of any of the other sites. For just a one time access fee of $39, you get access to every auction in every state every day, if you check around you'll see that you could easily pay $50 or even $60 at some other site. Plus, the customer service is absolutely awesome at Gov-auctions.org and they will provide you with a free 5-day comprehensive course on buying with these online auctions which no other site is offering. It's great for someone who is new to government online auctions and will really assist you in making a smart buy, which is also my reasoning behind writing this article.

I have bought several vehicles for myself and for a couple of my close friends. Two of the cars I bought, a 2002 Chevy Impala and a 2005 Nissan Altima, I actually sold locally and profited almost $9,000 from the sell of them. I've told you before on other posts that I'm an old used car dog and I've buying and selling with these online auctions for about 5 years now and I'll never buy from anywhere else. So I myself have a few tips that you will find helpful when bidding at these auctions. If you would like for me to send you my free personal tips for shopping at online and live auctions, email me at the address on this page and I'll disclose of them individually rather than publically.

So, after reading the information in this article, if you want to spend $10,000 on your next vehicle, are you going to settle for a Kia because you appear to be able to afford it, or will you stop settling and start getting what you want as a 'Informed Buyer'? I thought so. Good luck dear friends in all of you future purchases and be sure to make a smart buy.

Rainbow Trout ?Fishing Techniques by tkugler

Rainbow Trout are one of the most enjoyable fish to catch in freshwater, especially if that water is moving. Although rainbow trout can be found on lakes and ponds in my opinion they are meant to be caught in the flowing water of a river or stream which is what I'm going to discuss in this article. I'm not going to discuss the act of flicking feathers back and forth either. I'm going to discuss the most effective way that I've personally ever seen for catching Rainbow Trout, especially when it comes to the flowing water provided by rivers and streams.

The technique is really quite simple and only requires a few things. Here's what you're going to need: small barrel swivels, split shot sinkers, gang hooks, and live worms (I suggest having a way to carry your worms, such as a bait bag, but this obviously isn't an integral part of the technique). Simple enough, right? I think the fact that the technique is so simple is also what makes it so effective.

The goal is to bounce your live worm off the bottom, as it flows naturally downstream. First, take the end of your line and tie on a small barrel swivel. Now tie on a set of size 8 or 10 gang hooks (you can make your gang hooks yourself or buy them from JRWfishing.com). Now add enough split shot to get you to the bottom. Start with 2 and see what happens. Some experimentation is involved until you get the correct amount of weight. Now add a live worm, and your good to go. You want to cast this rig parallel to yourself and let it flow naturally with the current as it bounces off the bottom. You will get snagged from time to time, it's inevitable. As my mentor used to say, 'If you're not getting snagged, you're not fishing in the right place.'

The technique described above is the most effective technique for catching rainbow trout in moving water. The same rig, with an egg sinker instead of split shot will work well for lake fishing also. The gang hooks allow you to present the live worm in a completely natural manner, the way God intended, which is a huge advantage to the angler. Using this technique will not only enable you to catch more Rainbow Trout, but trout of all kinds as well.

Stanley Cup Notebook: Luongo Ready for Prime Time - ATSNetwork - Sports Handicapping by ATSBets

NHL goaltenders are guilty until proven innocent in terms of playoff performance and a bad series to begin a postseason career could follow a netminder around for a long time.

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo shouldn't have to worry about getting painted with that brush anytime soon, as it's obvious that he is hardly intimidated by postseason pressure.

Luongo was clearly the best player for Vancouver in its opening-round series against Dallas, which the Canucks won in seven games. The Montreal, Quebec native stopped 228 of the 240 shots he faced in the series and wound up with a 1.41 goals against average and .950 save percentage.

'It's huge, it's a hard fought battle the whole series,' said Luongo after the Game 7 win. 'Ya know, there's a lot of ups and downs.'

With a tremendous regular season, Luongo already proved to be everything Vancouver hoped when it acquired the standout goaltender from Florida Panthers in a blockbuster trade last summer.

Luongo justified the four-year, $27-million contract he signed with the Canucks shortly after the trade, as he started 75 of the team's 82 games and recorded 47 wins, one short of the NHL record established by Martin Brodeur this season. He also had a 2.28 goals-against average, five shutouts and his .921 save percentage was fourth-best among league netminders.

'What can you say. He's been outstanding all year, and he amazes us,' said Canucks captain Markus Naslund about Luongo,

The 28-year-old Luongo was thrown into the fire in Game 1, as he was forced to stop 72 shots to lead Vancouver to a 5-4 victory in a classic four-overtime battle. That performance set a new club record for saves in a postseason contest and broke the NHL mark for stops in a playoff debut. Luongo also fell one save shy of tying the NHL record Kelly Hrudey of the New York Islanders set against Washington during the 1987 playoffs.

Not a bad way to start your playoff career, and Luongo stayed steady the rest of the way. After giving up the four goals in the opener, Luongo yielded just eight total goals in the final six games of the set.

Luongo also had a terrific Game 7 and he was largely responsible for Vancouver's win in the deciding game against Dallas. Trevor Linden scored the go-ahead goal seven minutes into the third period, but Luongo was the man who made the one-goal edge hold up.

The Canucks backstop needed to make only 19 saves in Game 7 and the Canucks added two late empty-net tallies to make it a 4-1 final, but there is one moment that stands out for Luongo and his teammates.

With Vancouver holding onto the 2-1 lead midway through the third period, Luongo came up with the biggest save of the series. The Canucks gave away the puck in their own zone and Stars forward Stu Barnes pounced on the loose disc in the slot, just a few feet away from the front of the crease. Barnes quickly let a wrist shot go, but Luongo flashed the leather just in time to allow the Canucks to hold onto the slim lead.

'It might have been his best game of the whole year. Regardless of the playoffs or the regular season,' said Canucks center Brendan Morrison.

While Luongo's play in the opening round should give Canucks fans reason for hope, the team's scant offensive output against the Stars was nothing short of alarming.

After scoring five goals in Game 1, Vancouver managed just eight tallies the rest of the way and two of those markers were empty-netters in the closing moments of the 4-1, Game 7 triumph. In the regular season, the Canucks were 21st in the NHL with just 217 goals.

The Canucks' offensive shortcomings may prove to be deadly against second- seeded Anaheim in the conference semifinals, but a series' loss to the Ducks would only be a bump in the road for the Canucks.

After all, they've landed a franchise goaltender who is entering his prime and that should give the Canucks an excellent shot at a Stanley Cup title sometime in the near future.

Who knows, maybe it will happen this year.

The Convenience of Document Search Network Tools by Sam Miller

Having a document search network tool in the office is indeed very advantageous for a whole lot of reasons. Let us say, hypothetically, that you work for a company that specializes in article marketing geared towards search engine optimization, or SEO. So, you would have a number of web content writers and graphic designers connected to your network at the office. Suppose you are in a hurry, and you need to submit one particular set of article to a very important client. This can be easily remedied, by asking the particular writer who did the articles to submit them to you. However, what if your writers themselves are not too sure as to who exactly did those articles? This can happen, you know, since web content writers produce so many articles in a work day. What more, what if the particular set of articles that you are looking for dates several months back? The process of searching for these files could take a lot of time, which you really do not have as of the moment.

This is just one of the many scenarios when having a document search network tool can be very beneficial for the operations of your office. When you have this tool for your system, you can actually index the hundreds upon hundreds of files that you have in your whole network. After defining the folders, directories, and locations that you want to index, you can then perform a search for the file or files that you need in just a matter of seconds. This beats having to contact each and every writer in your team and asking them physically if they do remember creating the particular file at hand. Lucky for you if the writer in question has quite the extensive memory. However, this does not really present a common scenario here, especially when you are faced with the fact that your writers compose so many articles in a single month.

There are so many document search network applications that you can get in the market today. Because of the wide variety that these come in, it is important to weigh the features offered by each and every application before you do decide to get one. The important thing here is to match the features offered by the application to the needs of your system. Of course, there are general features offered by most of these document search network tools. Most offer a search system that is index-based and is also instant. The applications also offer support for phrase searches, as well as Boolean searches. There is also support provided for full-text analysis that is very accurate and very powerful.

Of course, what is the worth of a document search network tool if it cannot support the document types that are popularly used by people all over the world today? This is very important because the file types supported by the tool would really matter. These file types include MS Office files, HTML files, PDF files, WordPerfect files, and a whole lot more. Make sure that the interface of the tool is also convenient and user-friendly. The configuration options should be flexible as well, so that you can incorporate your preferences accordingly.
