I've never done a movie review before this, but I just watched "The International" on DVD last night. The story line was plausible, and I've never seen a movie so filled with memorable, quotable lines.

Clive Owen plays Lew Salinger, an Interpol investigator and former cop at Scotland Yard. Naomi Watts plays a not-believable Manhattan deputy district attorney Eleanor Whitman. There's no chemistry between the characters, no relationship between them, and no real reason in the story for her existence. Either the director left out chunks of screenplay that explained why she's in the movie, or the producers just thought the movie needed a blonde girl. Wally Cox would have been just as believable in this role.

The villain international bank is trying to corner the market on small arms brokering to the Third World. It has spent hundreds of millions of dollars buying and selling missile systems between nations to grease the wheels of the deals. An Italian family who owns a defense contracting company ends up as the hero of the movie as they scuttle the plans of the bank with a vendetta (an Italian invention) for a bank assassination of the father.

In an early scene, Salinger and Whitman meet with Umberto Calvini, the patriarch of the Italian family business. He explains the motives of all international bankers as follows (paraphrased):

"The true value of a war or armed conflict to a bank is in the debt it creates. If you control the debt, you the country that took on the debt. All big banks, nations of the world and all multinational corporations are involved. Every government and large corporation needs the bankers so they can operate in the gray and black latitudes."

So, who owns the US Government? The same banks that Bush and Obama just bailed out with a Trillion dollars of YOUR money.

Next quote:
"There's what people want to hear.
Then there's what people want to believe.
Then there's most everything else.
Then, there's the truth."

Watch the evening news and you'll see the first three things, but not the fourth.

Next quote:
"There's a difference between the truth and fiction. Fiction has to make sense."

The quote has it exactly upside down. Think about this quote as you remember the official story of the attacks of September 11, 2001. Unfortunately, the official story makes no sense, and it is certainly not the truth.

Next quote:
"(Good) Character is easier kept than recovered."

Compare Senator Ted Kennedy and Congressman Ron Paul for a lesson in character.

Next quote:
"We cannot control the things life does to us. They are done before you know it, and when they are done, they make us do other things...until, at last, everything comes between you and the man you wanted to be."

This is a fatalistic outlook that absolves the adherent from the consequences of his choices. It's like the Nuremberg defense..."I was just following orders."

Next quote:
"Sometimes a man can meet his destiny on the road he took to avoid it."

What does this really mean? The dictionary defines "destiny" as "the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible course of events." I've never believed in destiny or fate. I've always believed in individual choice. Destiny is fate, a leaf floating down a stream. Let me be the salmon swimming upstream against the current. At least I can say that I made my own way in spite of the obstacles. No guts, no glory.

Final quote:
"Justice is not possible because your idea and ideals about justice are illusions."

It's hard to argue against this statement when I see our court system in shambles, our prisons overcrowded with drug offenders, civil courts jammed, and jury awards unattached to reality. Perhaps true justice is only an illusion.

All in all, I enjoyed this action adventure film. One does not have to suspend belief and reality to enjoy this movie. I recommend it.

Moreover, her rocker husband Keith urban is also a big fan of cosmetic surgery and has undertaken several procedures to look more and more handsome with each passing day. Luckily, he looks much more strong has healthy than he was in his younger years with his plastic surgeries and will continue to do so because apparently he can't stand being old. Putting the plastic surgery issue aside, Nicole had amazing features even before her plastic surgeries and all those facial treatments have only made her look prettier. Unfortunately, looking beautiful and attractive is only in the case of her personal self, because her life and husband in general are quite the opposite. Ever since their marriage, Keith urban has been trying to fight substance abuse without much success. He is also known for driving rashly as he has caused many on road accidents.

Apart from her troubled husband, Nicole Kidman has also been trying to give birth to children with Keith but has still not become a mother. As time passes by, it will become more and more difficult for her to give children. No matter how young one looks, but deep down inside, no one can hide anything from oneself and Nicole better brace up to meet the harsh facts of life. Besides, Nicole Kidman has miscarried before when she was married to the famous Hollywood actor, tom cruise. Even then she could not have the children which she so longed for and as things stand, it does not seem very likely either. Maybe she was not destined to be a mother.

Coming back to Nicole Kidman's plastic surgery, it is quite clear that Nicole has had several treatments because her skin seem so clear and free of lines which is not usual for a woman who has crossed forty. Nevertheless, Nicole has kept herself fit and healthy also by following an exercise regime and keeping full care of what she eats, her diet plans etc. Nicole has taken many botox injections to keep her wrinkle away and due to this excessive use, a "Botox Brow" seems to have appeared on her face. This brow is in fact an arch shaped evil looking brow on the forehead which appears as a side effect of Botox usage.

According to several celebrity surgeons who like to share their news and views on the web, the botox bow of Nicole Kidman's Plastic surgery would diminish over a period of time but for the time being, everyone seems to be 'scared' of her Nicole's fitness trainer shares that it is because Nicole lives a healthy life by not going in the sun, or stressing herself very much, she has been able to keep a youthful look on her face all these years.

I just love this. Every since the Emmy's last weekend people have started to noticed Heidi Klum's tattoo that she has on the inside of her arm. Everyone is making such a big deal about it. I for one think it is great.

The reason people are making such a big deal about it is because Heidi is considered one of the most beautiful models in the world. Thus, for some reason meaning that she can't have tattoos. Well Heidi proved everyone wrong and got one and to be honest I think it looks great. And to all those people out there who think tattoos take away from you beauty look at Heidi and you will see that it absolutely does not.

The truth of the matter is Heidi has had this tattoo for while now. I knew this because I noticed she had it way back in May when she first go it. Heidi doesn't understand what the big deal is about her tattoo but since Sunday she has been asked about it quit a bit.

This is what Heidi said about her interesting abstract type tattoo with three little stars.

"I've had it since May. My husband and I always get married every year. It was our fourth wedding, and we wanted to have our names tattooed together."

"So it's my husband's name and our three children, their initials, in the (three) stars," she added.

I personally think it is great that Heidi is passing it off like it is no big deal and she is right, it isn't. I also think that whatever language she got Seal's name in is very cool.

With that gorgeous face and body and an oozing sex appeal, who would believe that this girl who models skimpy clothes and undies is actually as conservative as she can be.
