"This drawing is entitled NEGRO RULE. and it pretty much sums up the feeling of the Confederate Union towards the newly freed slaves and the idea that if given power they would reek havoc and chaos on the country." - ?uestlove

In some very interesting, developing news, apparently there is new evidence that Puff and Biggie KNEW that 2Pac was getting set up in the Quad Recording Shooting in N.Y. that set off their whole feud and eventually helped lead to the deaths of 2Pac and Biggie. Below is a couple excerpts:

"In an upcoming article written by Chuck Phillips on the latest developments, the Los Angeles Times claims that Combs was notified in advance that the trap for Shakur had been laid, according to sources familiar with the incident."

"'I don’t believe that Biggie and Puffy set Tupac up,' Phillips said. 'According to these people I have interviewed and according to these documents, they knew about it,' he said. "But they didn’t know they were going to get shot. They knew he was going to get beat up. Then it kind of went haywire when it all happened."

The L.A. Times will have the full story on their website on Monday as well as an interactive timeline. I've always been intrigued by the mystery surrounding 2Pac and Biggie and I'll def be up on this on Monday.

Girl Talk MySpace

Girl Talk OFFICIAL Website

As requested by my roomy Vinny Chase, I figure I would pass along this sick DJ from Pittsburgh, PA that you may have heard of - Girl Talk! Head over 2 his MySpace above and you can let each of his featured tracks play (each about 10 minutes or so) or you can download them if you are logged in on MySpace! In his featured tracks, he blends the new school and old school hits of the time (2006, 2005, etc.) for a legit, ridiculous mix of a capellas over different beats! My personal favorite is his most played track - the Night Ripper Tracks! All his tracks include everything from Kanye West, 50 Cent/The Game, Ludacris, and mainstream hip hop artists 2 The Beatles and even some sports theme songs, haha! His creativity really shines and sets him apart blending Biggie with Elton John and Beyonce for example. It makes for an awesome mix that you guys should enjoy while just studying, working, or surfing the net! Again, click on his MySpace above 2 enjoy the mixes from Girl Talk!
