Saddle Peak is one of my favorite runs in the Santa Monica Mtns. It's a pretty steep 5 mile trail, that gains over 2,000' on the way to the 2,800' summit. The 360 degree view from the top is second to none - city to the east, ocean to the west, the San Fernando Valley to the north, and best of all, the rugged topography of Malibu Creek State Park to the northwest.
