The Buddha
In the six century BC, in a small country in Nepal
ruled King Suddhadana and his wife Mahamaya.
Queen Mahamaya had a dream in which a white,
baby elephant entered her body. After asking the
priests to explain the dream, she was told that
she would have a son who would be presented
with two paths: he would either be an emperor
or a universal teacher.

So the king, to ensure that his son, Siddhattha,
would become an emperor like himself, prevented
the child from seeing anything that might make
him want to be a teacher. Despite this, at the age
of 29, Siddhattha left his wife and son to discover
the truths that would liberate man from suffering...
