Seagull Soap: The Inner Gull in You
In Media Studies (pop culture, not art) we had to create an advertisement for a product that could be sold to women in the same way Dove soap and Special K cereal has. So we decided to do a parody of the Dove ad campaign because doves aren't common, and seagulls happen to be the 'average-looking, common' bird, like the type of people we are trying to sell our product to. Everyone is flapping their arms to show their inner gull, which is supposed to be interpreted as 'girl', like in those cheesy sea food restaurants.
