A partnership between Charles Stewart Rolls and Frederick Henry Royce, British-based Rolls-Royce Ltd. was formed in 1906.
During the '20's they acquired a second factory in Springfield Massachusetts to help keep up with the demand.
From the start Rolls-Royce has stood for ultraluxury. It doesn't get much more stately, opulent and luxurious than a Rolls-Royce.
