British hot-air balloon in the shape of a flying saucer. The balloon, which also carried illumination, was first flown on April Fool's Day in 1989, causing a near panic among motorists on the M25 highway south of London. It was chased by police cars and subsequently identified for what it was. The owner of the UFO balloon was Richard BRANSON, famed billionaire and president of the Virgin Group.
