Need help deciphering the gobbledygook names of processes running on your PC? Process Scanner can help. Most of those processes will turn out to be innocuous, but others with similar-looking names could be nasty malware. For instance, nvcpl.exe is a malicious worm, while nvcplui.exe is an nVidia control-panel app. You may not be able to spot the difference from the process name, but the free software can.
