George Hamilton Dies in Freak Moose Accident

I've got this deep-seated loathing for content-free posts. I don't play the "Hi! Comment me! Rate me back! Read my blog! Friend me!" game simply because I want to see a network of worthwhile grey-matter being passed around the community, people with like-minds sharing ideas, debating, idealizing, whatever.

Show me something cool and tell me why YOU think it's cool. Quote, link, and make references to your heart's content, but your own ideas are worth a million bucks, can't we have two cents of that?

My dad used to complain to me -- he'd say "Why are you spending so much time formulating all these opinions, posting editorial style articles to web forums and chat sites when you could be out there getting published and having it made?" -- therefore now I'm trying to post here more than I do on Myspace or Livejournal. But I'm just not really getting the community vibe here, and that's my main source of inspiration.

It's really unfortunate if revenue share actually means you're willing to put in LESS personality, thought, and effort into your posts, because gosh darn it, you could be getting paid for your mind here. That doesn't make your toes curl like it does mine?

And just for the sake of hypocritical satire, everybody should download the Agloco Toolbar. Ask me for personal advice so I feel useful. Test drive a hybrid because Mother Nature will love you more. Laugh, for once, instead of getting angry, and if you really feel the need, comment with vitriol.

(Note about the title: No, my dears, it isn't true. Consider it satirical, too?)
