Yesterday my children were ready to go to the library almost as soon as I got home. I had promised them that I would take them and get them new library cards on Tuesday. We moved about 4 years ago into our new home and I had not got the kids a library card yet. The library was under construction and I just felt it was easier for them to get their books from the school .

     Well school is finally out here. Yesterday was their last day. I must say I was quite excited to see how excited they were to go get a new library card. When my oldest son was small we had visited the library in our town. We lived in this town for about a year but the cost of housing was far more than other towns so we moved out. ( big mistake) So with children and hubby in tow we all ventured into the library and boy was it beautiful.

     Everything had been updated and remodeled. The childrens section is just amazing. A very nice lady helped all 4 of us either update our cards or get our first card. My youngest son was in heaven. He quickly picked out two books, and a video. I was amazed at the selection of videos the library had. They even had television series . I can catch up on desperate housewives now!!! My oldest son went and quickly picked out a book about guitars, a cd, and a blue man group dvd. He has a very great appreciation for music so he was in heaven also when he saw the hundreds of cd's he could borrow.

     Chris my husband went over to where they house the computer books and low and behold he got three.... This man does not read but last night he was and he seemed quite happy to be doing so. I did not get any books because I have 3 I have not finished so once these are done I will have to find something to entertain myself. I forgot how much I love the library. So if you have forgotten what the library holds go visit. I was very much surprised!
