I Love Chocolate
I love chocolate.... rich, decadent chocolate... Real chocolate, not the kind with all the substitute ingredients. I like real chocolate made with real cocoa butter, preferably with at least 60% cacao. That is a semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate. When I really need a good taste of chocolate without so much sweetness I nibble the 72% or even the 85% cacao chocolate. Yes, I said nibble. That is what I do... I nibble. A 4oz bar will last me a week or more. I just have a little nibble when I feel the need. A small piece a cm x a cm is plenty. I let it melt slowly in my mouth and savor the faint bitterness.... the faint sweetness.... the smooth chocolateness of it on my tongue... the full, rich flavor that floods my mouth as it melts.. the subtle nuances of flavor and taste. I thoroughly enjoy the whole chocolate experience and it makes me happy. There is a scientific explanation for that happiness. It seems that chocolate contains all sorts of good things that make our brains happier and our bodies healthier.... Perhaps it should be a food group all on its own. Or eaten medicinally every day... That sounds like a good thing. I will include it in my plan for healthier living. Memo for health plan: Eat chocolate everyday.... Enjoy, Angel
