Betting: City v United

Betfred chairman and United fan Fred Done previews Sunday's big Manchester derby...

Two games down, 36 to go and United are already four points behind Chelsea.  On a much more positive note, the promising Carlos Tevez did very well in his debut and I’m sure there's a lot more to come from the boy.

One thing that worries me about Sunday's trip to the City Of Manchester Stadium is the lack of firepower at our disposal. Rooney, Ronaldo, Saha and Solskjaer are all missing, leaving us Nani, Tevez and Giggs as our most offensive players.

City will be on a high given their performances so far. The young boy Michael Johnson scored a cracker against Derby, but hopefully he won’t find the back of the net on the weekend.

In terms of how I see this game ending up, my heart says a United win but my head says it may be honours even. We've priced a draw at 12/5. One thing's certain: the game will be played at a fast tempo. If it's raining, as expected, anything can happen.

We all would love to see Tevez net his first United goal and set the tone for the rest of the season, so he is 5/1 to score first at www.manutd.com/bet.

Don't forget: if you back a player to score first but he scores last instead, or you place a scorecast bet and only get half right, we'll refund your money. For all markets on the game, visit www.manutd.com/bet.
