Just yesterday I posted about the fact that many users had been abusing the new voting system on Flixya to promote their own content and sabotage the content of other users.

Already today Flixya has made what I think could be some great improvements to fix the problem:

1. No longer can users vote for their own content. This only helps slightly as it only prevents one extra vote but it is a step forward.

 2. Users can only vote on a video every 10 seconds. This prevents users from just scrolling down a list of other peoples videos and voting against them. I'm not sure if just 10 seconds will be enough of a deterant but we will have to wait and see.

Good work Flixyaco, I look forward to seeing what else you have in store.
