This isn't going to be a long blog. Rather, it's just a collection of my thoughts regarding Flixya. I came on here because, like most other people, I'm addicted to sharing sites. Since I'm into photography, design work and pretty much anything creative, I thought this would be a good place to meet like-minded people.
What I've found is that Flixya seems to be all about revenue generation, and not so much about the content. That is to say, the communications tend to be fairly shallow, and based on the "click on me" mentality. Is this a bad thing? Heck, I'm involved in it myself. I just wish there was a more "social" aspect to this website.
Also, I wish there was more emphasis on quality posts. Again, I'm guilty here, since I post up pretty much anything I can think of, that has some remote level of interest.
Would you like to hear the irony? Once I post this, I'm sure I'll get some hits, but I have to wonder who is actually reading my blogs. Or will I be getting more hits, from an automated system?
