Finding car insurance has become quite easy in recent years with everything moving online and car insurance aggregators, etc, but there are still some car owners who fork out a small fortune every single year to be able to drive their dream cars. I suppose if you can afford one of these cars, money isn’t really your number one problem!

The first of the two cars I will reveal might come as a bit of a shock to be honest, it shocked me to find out, but it is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. This is mostly based on the fact that car insurance is determined by how much of a liability you are in your car and with the Evo’s legendary handling and speed I can see why it is considered a high risk car. Too many petrol heads with too little experience ending up in hedges sounds about right doesn’t it?

Then, numero uno, the most expensive car in the world to insure? It is the Bugatti Veyron; could it have been anything else? With a top speed of 253 mph and years of grip, the Bugatti was only made to prove what could be achieved with some brilliant engineering and that is exactly what they did. Nothing before it came close, not even the McClaren F1 (which incidentally is the second most expensive car to insure) and many people are predicting that nothing ever will. Bold claims and statements, but we shall see. The Veyron costs an estimated £20 000 to insure annually.

That is a little above my budget I am afraid, but maybe someday.
