3. Overuse of graphics may lead to long download time, which will not suit the user well.

4. A website user does not likes to wait for long if the download time of the web page is more, so target fast downloading, which can be achieved by keeping the size of the graphics to minimum, decreasing the image resolution and limited use of animation.

5. Flashy and blinking text should be avoided, as some browsers do not support it.

6. From the web usability point of view overuse of colors can lead to non-readability of the text.

Generally the choice of design remains with the designer but there are certain essentials, which should or can be controlled by the user such as an option to display graphics or not.
