Holland is one of the most picturesque places in Europe. It lies in Western Europe surrounded on one side by Belgium and Germany and the North Sea on the other. Holland is graced with quaint old cities that still retain their old world charm. Holland has a lot of places that attract tourists from all over the world.

The beautiful old cities of Holland make the tourist feel like they have entered the 17th-century. Holland is most beautiful in the month of April and May when the flower fields are in bloom. The entire countryside is full of daffodils, tulips and hyacinths. It is a sight to behold and will enchant a viewer with its beauty. The art museums of Amsterdam are also a treat to visit. They hold priceless pieces crafted by great masters like Vincent van Gogh and Rembrandt. Holland has some famous opera galleries and some excellent orchestra. The windmill town of Alkmaar is dotted with hundreds of windmills. Tourists are encouraged to rent bikes and ride around the windmills. The center of Amsterdam is shaped like a horseshoe and is surrounded by the four famous canals named “Singel", “Herengracht", "Keizersgracht" and "Prinsengracht".

Amsterdam caters to the need of all tourists. Amsterdam has a large number of restaurants and pubs, which caters to the tastes of people from various cultures. There are many small and interesting shops for buying souvenirs, gifts and memorabilia. There are also big shops and shopping malls for serious shopping.
