Dead Space 2 Development to Begin Soon

According to a new job listing posted by Visceral Games, which is the rebranded Redwood Shores studio that EA has, the listing reveals that development on a follow-up to the acclaimed 2008 original will begin shortly.

The job listing is for a "Lead Combat & Controls Designer". Further on through the job listing it completely describes the project in more detail and also confirms it as Dead Space 2 and not some silly prequel or side project. Another cool thing about the listing is that it mentions it is the "same core team" that developed the first Dead Space. So that is definitely a good thing because the first Dead Space rocked in my opinion, so more from those guys is definitely good.
