 'Great Performing Wiper' 2009-12-11

I have had these wipers installed on my WRX for three weeks now and have been through several heavy downpours and a light snow storm. To date, these are some of the best performing wipers I have ever experienced in the conditions listed above. They effectively remove any water from the windshield with minimal streak and very little noise. My only concern at this point is due to their durability when they become frozen to my the windshield as they are constructed of mostly plastic. Their plastic construction resulted in me giving them four-stars, however, I am overall pleased with their performance and am giving them the benefit of the doubt. Once I experience a heavy icestorm (from northeast) I will update the review accordingly.

This blade is being used on the driver's side front windshield. It installed much easier than 'regular' blades I've used before-no pulling, pushing, and wiggling to get it to fully snap into the wiper arm. It contacts the glass all along the blade as it should and does a very good job of cleaning water off very quickly. I'll have to wait to see how it handles snow, ice and slush.

The installation literally took 60 seconds. I had no idea what size to buy, but the Amazon product selector showed me exactly what I needed. Though I have not yet used them in snow, I can say they perform wonderfully in rain, light or heavy. I installed them right before a trip and went through rain and heavy mist. It did such a good job, my windshield looked invisible. No streaking, no awful noises. Great!

I picked these up for my old Acura Integra, I had another style of Valeo blades on my Audi and thought what the heck I loved those so maybe these will be just as good. I wasn't disappointed, the blades installed easily and worked without flaw in a very heavy rare downpour. Quiet, no streaks and a great deal, what more can you ask for? Just be careful to follow the instructions and install these properly. I noticed that when I first installed I missed 'locking' one of the blades down so it came off as I was testing in the garage.

I used the Amazon guide to make sure the product would fit my 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche. While the length was correct, the attachment bracket is not.
