TOP FLIXYA MEMBER LOOSES ADSENSE ACCOUNT Hello Flixers, I would like to bring to your attention some unfortunate information passed on to me by a Top posting member of Flixya. It seems some malicious people have been joining Flixya and mass bombing some of the members myself included. I opened my Blog a few days back and found a Flixya member had mass hit my Blog 154 times. When I opened my messages I found that other members suffered the same fate one receiving over 1000 hits. I was lucky in some sense as this malicious member didn’t target my Google Adsense, however some members didn’t.
Message from a Top Posting Member: I had a disappointing email about 20 min ago.... Well, first I will explain what happened a few days ago...I went to check my google adsense account and I noticed 500 clicks(quite unusual) from one person or shall I say an autobot,I reported it to Google and asked them to investigate it (being an honest person) and today I got this email:
While going through our records recently, we found that you’re AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account. Please understand that we consider this a necessary step to protect the interests of both our advertisers and our other AdSense publishers. We realize the inconvenience this may cause you, and we thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. If you have any questions about your account or the actions we've taken, please do not reply to this email. You can find more information by visiting https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=57153&hl=en_US. Sincerely, The Google AdSense Team ................................. If I had to bet it happened from a member on this site, I have my suspicions on who it may be but I don't want to point fingers. Just some msg I got before all this happened, which I wasn't understanding the broken English. I also noticed other members accounts are disabled.... At this point I will lose accumulated earnings and maybe the recent check I deposited. Cheers I’m not sure what this member can do to fix this problem with Google? Especially after doing the right thing and reporting the incident like a responsible Blogger should. Having there Adsense account disabled for reporting the problem is saddening to say the least. Not that I have any clout with Google I have sent them an email in support of the member, giving them a brief account of what happened to myself and other members. I hope it will help.
Over the last few days of being on Flixya I have also noticed that some members have recently joined and mass published to Flixya. I have seen one account (now suspended) that joined and within days had published (Videos: 113, Photos: 0, Blogs: 3092) I can only surmise that it isn’t 1 person posting but many people posting to the same member account. It’s a sad day in Flixya when malicious people join and cause damage to good members in Flixya.
