Flixya Moderation

There are a few ways that Flixya moderates. Generally, they do send warning emails; however, that’s not always the case. They look at each account individually and it’s on a case-by-case basis. However, due to the volume of members and content, as they note in their policy, a user’s account may be suspended without warning for a number of reasons.

Obviously, they cannot moderate and prefer not to moderate or police every account. Their flagging system is a way to flag an inappropriate photo or video. Other members do give them a heads up when there is content or if there are other issues that they feel we should know about.

The community is somewhat self-policed and as a small team, we also run a network of other sites, so they are always rather busy.

What that means is that we expect members to follow the rules of Google Adsense and at times, when those members abuse their privileges, Google will not hesitate to discontinue their Google publisher ID. Our rules are similar as we work with Google to make sure that Flixya’s site is within their strict Terms of Service. A lot of our members are aware of the rules that exist as a Google Adsense publisher and if the member
chooses to engage in inappropriate behavior or click fraud, they are shut off. Flixya’s suspensions can be a direct result of many different types of activity, which we don’t announce due to the varying degrees of the behavior.

They’ve found that suspending an account is a good way to get the attention of a member who may not be aware of our policies. In addition, to comply with the Google Terms of Service, a warning is not always the best route, as they put the existence of Flixya in jeopardy.

1. Don’t Publish Copy Right Material
2. Don’t Post Pictures or Gif’s with Corp Logo’s or Markings (Adsense)
3. Don’t Click your own Posts
4. Don’t have Personal friends mass hit your Blog
5. Don’t post offensive Material
6. Don’t Post articles with direct Links for Advertising
7. Don’t post anything that Violates Adsense Rules
8. Don’t Spam Flixya Members
9. Don’t Click on your own Adsense ad’s
10. Don’t publish anything that might jeopardize Flixya with Google

Flixya is a great place for people to come and promote their Adsense on the internet. Please help make sure that everyone is posting within the rules and guidelines that Flixya and yourselves have agreed to with Google.
